The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brockman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hodges gets the takedown into side control. Hodges wants to stand but Brockman is controlling his arm. Both fighters take a look at the clock. Hodges tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Hodges stands up and we're back to a striking position. A combination from Hodges does no damage. Hodges misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hodges tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hodges throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's one minute gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hodges. Brockman dodges the punch combination from Hodges.
Hodges feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Brockman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Hodges would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Hodges trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Brockman is controlling Hodges's posture.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Brockman avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hodges tries for a takedown but Brockman sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Brockman tries to clinch up but Hodges circles away and keeps his distance. Hodges misses with a few strikes there.

Hodges trying to control the position but instead, Brockman has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hodges into the cage. Brockman pulls Hodges into guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Dana Hodges will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Hodges lands with a kick to the temple. Brockman shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Hodges tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brockman was well out of range. Poor timing from Hodges. Brockman falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hodges counters with a series of strikes. Brockman will be more careful next time no doubt. Hodges feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brockman's calf. Hodges avoids the body shot from Brockman.

Hodges gets in close and instigates a clinch. Hodges is looking to break free of the clinch but Brockman has double underhooks. Hodges is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Brockman prevents the takedown attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hodges is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Brockman is controlling him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trager throws a half hearted mid kick. Trager connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Weedly fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A punch combination from Weedly misses. Trager drops Weedly with a left right combo! Trager follows him down to the ground into side control.
Trager really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weedly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Weedly takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Weedly is rocked! Weedly tries to get back to half guard but can't. Weedly is working to avoid the ground and pound but Trager connects with a decent elbow. Trager looks up at the clock and then as Weedly takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Trager smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Oh Weedly is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Weedly is looking for a sweep. Weedly seems to have got his legs back now. Trager in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Weedly looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Trager turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Evans is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Placido is just riding it out for now. Evans eventually gives up the hold. Placido blocking the ground and pound attempt from Evans.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Treetops tries to clinch up. A head kick from Parra lands but Treetops takes it in his stride.
It looks like Frankie Treetops has been cut. Parra throws out a powerful jab. Treetops drops Parra with a left right combo! Treetops follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Carlos Parra has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Parra struggling a bit here. Parra is not content to let Treetops control the position. Treetops in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Treetops wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parra keeps working. Treetops lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Parra circles away quickly and effectively.

Melano shoots for a double leg takedown but Cason sprawls well. He's pushed Melano's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cason gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cason's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Melano tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cason just stands there and leans against the cage. Cason stops a takedown attempt from Melano.

van de Veen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Lennox in his tracks. Lennox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lennox uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from van de Veen. van de Veen throws a push kick but Lennox slaps the foot to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. van de Veen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Niels van de Veen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Lennox looking for a kimura from the bottom but van de Veen passes into side control! van de Veen stands up and we're back to a striking position. van de Veen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

That could be painful for both fighters. Lennox walks into a stiff left hand from van de Veen. Lennox closes the distance and clinches up with van de Veen, looking for a takedown. Lennox pushes van de Veen against the cage but van de Veen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
