I think Kayo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Judith . Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bubba Kayo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Mccaughan! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kayo throws a head kick but Mccaughan moves out of range.
Mccaughan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kayo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kayo is looking for a sweep. Kayo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kayo tries to get out of the position. A bit of a lull in the action here. Mccaughan tries for a kimura but Kayo is defending well. Mccaughan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kayo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Kayo wants to control but Mccaughan postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kayo is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mccaughan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Mccaughan is staying tight to Kayo's torso, preventing him from escaping. Kayo wants to control but Mccaughan postures up. Kayo tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mccaughan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mccaughan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kayo. Kayo misses the jab. Mccaughan tries to clinch but Kayo moves out of range. Mccaughan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kayo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kayo scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Mccaughan tries to close the distance and clinch but Kayo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kayo looks to score with a jab to the body but Mccaughan is just out of range. Kayo lands an overhand right. A jab from Kayo misses. Kayo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mccaughan circles away quickly and effectively. A jab from Kayo misses. A combination from Kayo does no damage.

Kayo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mccaughan's back instead. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mccaughan defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kayo's arms. Kayo wants to control the position but Mccaughan frees himself and scrambles - Kayo manages to regain control in side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kayo missing with a left hand there. Mccaughan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kayo looks to throw a body kick and Mccaughan counters by moving into the clinch. Mccaughan creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Mccaughan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mccaughan drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Mccaughan seems to have locked his on tight now - Kayo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Mccaughan, as he picks up the win!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cross fails to land the takedown. Cross shoots for a double leg takedown but Strap sprawls well. He's pushed Cross's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Strap misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cross.

Strap is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real. Strap tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Strap is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cross. Strap decides to stand up, so the ref orders Cross to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A knee to the head by Strap.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Cross tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Strap smiles and moves away.

Cross is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Cross takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Strap throws a series of punches but Cross avoids them all with ease. Nice sprawl there from Strap as Cross shoots in. Strap tries to clinch but Cross moves away and Cross counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Strap's guard now. Cross drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Strap manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cross has Strap in his guard. Cross looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Jacque Strap is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cross is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Strap stands up from Cross's guard - Strap perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cross gets caught flat footed, as Strap shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Strap avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cross has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Strap can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Strap wants to stand but Cross is controlling his posture from full guard. Janus Cross has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cross had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Strap is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cross Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Strap's back instead.
And that's the end of the fight! Jacque Strap comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Strap has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lipps tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bukharin swivels and escapes. Bukharin looks to throw the jab but Lipps is out of range. Bukharin throws an overhand right that lands on Lipps's shoulder, as Lipps tries to avoid the shot. Lipps connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bukharin. Bukharin circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bukharin dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lipps takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Lipps takes a swing at Bukharin's ribcage but misses. Bukharin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lipps has time to react. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lipps misses with a few strikes there.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lipps, into his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bukharin stuffs the takedown attempt from Lipps. Lipps gets slowly back to his feet. Bukharin throws out a powerful jab. Bukharin is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Bukharin throws a combination that misses and Lipps counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Bukharin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bukharin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
