Lanier comes to the cage accompanied by Sage Francis-Sea Lion. Tiger Shark will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tiger Shark! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shark fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lanier looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Excellent takedown into side control there by Shark. The strikes coming from Shark are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Lanier parries the strikes from Shark easily there. Shark is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lanier to escape.
Shark wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lanier keeps working. Shark tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Shark trying to control the position but Lanier is working away. Lanier tries to bench press Shark off him but Shark keeps the position. Lanier parries the strikes from Shark easily there. Shark is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lanier to escape.
Shark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lanier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Shark will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Shark shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shark showed some decent athleticism there.

Lanier has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Lanier trying to control but Shark is working from the bottom. Hardy uses his free foot to push down on Rambusch's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rambusch. Rambusch is looking to get to half guard. Hardy lands with some strikes. A nice elbow there by Hardy. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hardy cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hardy breaks from Rambusch's wrist control and lands an elbow. Hardy postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Rambusch bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hardy and the fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DAWSON drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. DAWSON trying to control but Leonpoika is working from the bottom. DAWSON is sitting in close to Leonpoika's body. Leonpoika has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! DAWSON is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, DAWSON is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Leonpoika.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fing throws a head kick that misses. Fing cracks the inside of VonBrunn's front leg. Fing throws a sloppy head kick and VonBrunn moves out of range easily. Fing misses with a low kick. VonBrunn chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fing can pounce on him.
VonBrunn thows a leg kick but Fing checks it and Fing makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Fing pivots, looking for a leg kick but VonBrunn is out of range and Fing settles back down. VonBrunn throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fing ducks under a wild hook from VonBrunn. VonBrunn goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Fing throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. VonBrunn scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Kah Fing has been cut. A lazy body kick from VonBrunn and Fing finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Fing moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. This has been an exciting period of action! VonBrunn scores with a sloppy right hand. Fing should have avoided that one. VonBrunn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
