The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall is looking to clinch but Ribbon is avoiding it.
Hall fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ribbon throws a series of punches but Hall moves out of range.
Hall fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ribbon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Ribbon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Hall tries to keep at a distance but Ribbon has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ribbon lands a nice elbow.

Ribbon manages to break the clinch.
Ribbon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hall. That did some damage!
Hall swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ribbon counters with an outside leg kick.
Left hook, right uppercut from Hall.
Ribbon cracks the inside of Hall's front leg.
Ribbon throws a series of punches but Hall avoids them all with ease.
Hall tries to move into range but Ribbon moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Hall will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ribbon.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ribbon takes the fight into the clinch.

Ribbon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ribbon.
Hall on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Ribbon. Ribbon obviously looking to wear him down.
Hall tries to clinch there but Ribbon circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hall goes for a takedown attempt but Ribbon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ribbon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ribbon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ribbon throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hall.
Blue Ribbon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribbon throws a nice looking combination but Hall bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hall stalks Ribbon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ribbon's face. Ribbon staggers backwards, shaken.
Ribbon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hall lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hall.

Ribbon is rocked!
Ribbon is breathing heavily.
Hall misses with a few strikes there.
Oh Ribbon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ribbon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hall counters with a huge left! Ribbon is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hall isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Ribbon from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hall!

Morris looking for a guillotine here but Savage defends easily.

Morris is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Savage missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Savage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Morris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Morris looking for a guillotine here but Savage defends easily.

Morris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Savage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Savage manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Savage wants to control from the top but Morris keeps moving.
Savage pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Morris is keeping the position for now.

Morris looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Savage drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Savage jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Savage is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Savage clinches up with Morris and pushes him back against the cage.

Savage turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Savage manages to end up in side control.
Morris tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Savage looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morris is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage in side control lands a decent elbow.
Morris regains half guard.
Morris makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morris.

Morris looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
