The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobretti throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A big left from Cobretti misses. Chan lands with a nice body kick. Chan tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cobretti is able to avoid easily. Cobretti throws a right hand that Chan ducks under and follows up with a left that Chan also avoids with ease. Cobretti getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Cobretti lands a with a good body shot. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Chan, right into the meat.
Chan plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Chan throws a head kick that Cobretti semi-blocks.
A combination from Cobretti does no damage. Cobretti loads up on a big right hand but Chan slips the punch. Marion Cobretti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cobretti misses with a few strikes there.
Chan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cobretti shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cobretti throwing strikes from guard but Chan blocks nicely. Cobretti might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Cobretti is looking to work some ground and pound but Chan has wrist control.

Cobretti postures up in Chan's guard and throws a big left but Chan blocks it. Cobretti is in close to Chan's body, working some short punches and elbows. Chan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Chan is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Cobretti lands an overhand right. Cobretti closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chan to the mat! Chan manages to get full guard. Cobretti trying to control the position from guard on top but Chan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobretti is looking to work some ground and pound but Chan has wrist control. Cobretti loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Cobretti throwing strikes from guard but Chan blocks nicely. Chan trying to control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cobretti scores with a sloppy right hand. Chan should have avoided that one. An inside leg kick from Chan misses. Cobretti looks to score with a jab to the body but Chan is just out of range. Cobretti shoots in and bounces Chan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Cobretti working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cobretti throws and elbow that misses. Chan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cobretti's guard. Nice move by Chan! Chan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Cobretti is keeping the position for now. Cobretti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cobretti tries to get out of the position. Cobretti is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chan passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marion Cobretti dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Cobretti loads up on a big right hand but Chan slips the punch. Cobretti fails to land the takedown. Chan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cobretti manages to avoid it. Chan misses with a low kick as Cobretti jumps back. Chan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cobretti. Chan goes for a high kick. It partially lands. A big left from Cobretti misses. Chan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Chan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cobretti rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Chan tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cobretti is able to avoid easily. Cobretti misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chan.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Cobretti, as that shot connected.
No joy there for Cobretti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ichiro Chan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cobretti thows a body shot but no joy. Cobretti throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Cobretti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chan was well out of range. Poor timing from Cobretti. Cobretti throws a hook to the side of Chan's head but Chan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cobretti throws a one two combo.
It looks like Ichiro Chan has been cut. Cobretti throws a big shot that misses. Cobretti is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Chan. A punch combination from Cobretti misses. Chan slips a jab from Cobretti. Cobretti scores with a sloppy right hand. Chan should have avoided that one. Cobretti misses with a looping left. Cobretti stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Chan. Cobretti throws a series of punches but Chan avoids them all with ease. A bone on bone clash there as Cobretti blocks the leg kick.
Ichiro Chan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cobretti showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chan.
Cobretti connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chan scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Cobretti misses with a hook. The fighters circling - Chan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Cobretti waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Chan. Cobretti takes a swing at Chan's ribcage but misses. Cobretti falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chan counters with a good, hard body kick but Cobretti shrugs it off. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chan cracks Cobretti with a right hand to the side of the head. Chan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cobretti. A good leg kick by Chan. This has been an exciting period of action! Chan avoids a lazy jab quite easily. A swing and a miss from Cobretti. Cobretti jabbing away but nothing is landing. Chan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Cobretti's calf. Cobretti looks to throw the jab but Chan is out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Nice shot lands for Chan. Cobretti takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Cobretti works Chan's body with a nice hook. Cobretti swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Chan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Cobretti moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Cobretti looks to throw the jab but Chan is out of range. A slapping leg kick lands for Chan.
Chan throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Cobretti is rocked! Cobretti throws a hook but Chan blocks it. Cobretti throws a series of punches but Chan moves out of range. Cobretti chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chan can pounce on him.

This has been an exciting period of action! Chan feints and then cracks Cobretti's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cobretti down. Chan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Chan moves out of range of the strikes.

Oh Cobretti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice body kick from Chan. Chan feints and then cracks Cobretti's leading leg with a nice low kick. Cobretti loads up on a big right hand but Chan slips the punch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cobretti jabs at Chan's body. Chan throws a quick inside leg kick. Cobretti throws a series of punches but Chan moves out of range. Chan throws a nice head kick!

Ichiro Chan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ichiro Chan's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Cobretti scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Cobretti throws a looping overhand right but Chan ducks down to avoid it. Cobretti throws a jab but it's blocked by Chan. Cobretti dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cobretti tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Cobretti missing with a left hand there. Chan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Cobretti fails with the takedown. Chan scores with a leg kick.
Chan throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Chan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cobretti. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cobretti takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Cobretti is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Cobretti takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Cobretti fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Chan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Cobretti tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Cobretti throws a lazy right hand but Chan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Chan slips a jab from Cobretti. Chan staying out of range there. Cobretti takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Cobretti misses with an uppercut. Chan saw that one coming. Cobretti misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chan explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Chan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cobretti. Cobretti throws a jab but it's blocked by Chan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cobretti darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Cobretti seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Cobretti throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Chan moves into full guard.
Cobretti postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cobretti with a flurry of punches that miss. Cobretti missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cobretti throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobretti landing with the ground and pound. Chan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Cobretti is working hard here to advance position. Cobretti wants to control his opponent's hands but Chan gets his hands free. Cobretti rolls, trying to escape but Chan keeps control of the position.
Cobretti breaks Chan's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cobretti uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chan has time to react. A solid leg kick lands there for Chan.

and Chan counters with a thumping low kick. Chan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ichiro Chan. I think Chan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Gracie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hughs lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Hughs throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily. Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Hughs slips the punch. Hughs darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage. Hughs connects with a nasty looking knee right to Gracie's face.

Nice shot lands for Hughs. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Gracie is breathing heavily. Gracie fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BJJ Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hughs clinches. The fight stays on the outside here - LEAO looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Telleo keeps the fight on the outside. LEAO is looking to clinch but Telleo is avoiding it.

It looks like Pedro LEAO has been cut. Telleo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for LEAO on the ground. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Telleo stands up. LEAO is still on wobbly legs! Can Telleo finish him? Telleo connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends LEAO to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Telleo !
