Wood ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
StPaul tries to clinch but Wood moves out of range.
Some bone on bone action there as StPaul checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Wood throws a one two combo.

It looks like Gilles StPaul has been cut.
Wood connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

StPaul ducks right into an uppercut from Wood.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
StPaul looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wood connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed StPaul momentarily.

Jones drops Parise with a right and a left! Jones comes rushing in but Parise regains his composure and manages to keep Jones in guard.

It looks like Jordan Parise has been cut.

Jones drops back looking for a leg! Parise is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parise manages to kick Jones off! Jones jumps back into Parise's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Jones engages and cracks Parise with a massive lead left hook - Parise tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Jones is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

I think Labont might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bad Religion's Walk Away. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Champion darts in and clinches Labont up against the cage.

Labont dodges an elbow strike from Champion.
Champion tries to land knees in the clinch but Labont avoids the damage to the body.

Champion has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Labont regains guard immediately.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zulud loads up on a big right hand but Dios slips the punch.
Zulud fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dios ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Zulud is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dios's shoulder. That is not cool.
Dios tries to bench press Zulud off him but Zulud keeps the position.

Dios connects with a good right hand that stumbles Zulud. Zulud circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Zulud dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dios. That did some damage!

Dios is working to tighten is grip on Zulud's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Zulud has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Dios is really squeezing tight and eventually Zulud passes out! Dios breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
