Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Alberto Flash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Troy! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flash gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Flash wants a takedown but no success here.
Flash lands with a short shot to the head. Troy blocks an elbow strike from Flash.
Flash tries to break the clinch but Troy is controlling the position. Flash struggles to land a body shot inside as Troy controls his hands.

Troy throws the kick towards the body but Flash avoids it. Troy wants to clinch but Flash slips to the side
and Flash counters with a nice double leg into side control. Troy won't be happy with that. Troy is looking to reverse the position. Troy is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Flash is one step ahead and moves to full mount! You get the feeling that Troy really doesn't like being in this position too much.
BOOM! Flash connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Flash lands a big shot there that rocks Troy but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Troy wants to control but Flash is having none of it. Troy is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Troy is in all sorts of trouble here.
Flash wants to control the pace but Troy is squirming around nicely. Flash has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Troy's face.
Flash swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Troy is now in Flash's guard. A big mistake from Flash there, giving up the dominant position! Flash manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Troy manages to get himself to full guard.

Flash gets to his feet - Troy follows without any prompting. Flash misses with a double jab.
Troy tries to clinch and Flash finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Danny Troy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Flash moves into the clinch. Knees to the body from Troy.

Troy clinches but Flash breaks the clinch and Flash counters with a one-two to the body. Flash is breathing heavily. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Troy - that will leave a mark!

and Flash counters by moving into the clinch. Troy is leaning against Flash and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Troy connects with a knee to the head.
Troy lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Troy lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Troy working some nice short punches in the clinch. Troy lands on the inside with an uppercut. Troy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Flash has him pressed against the cage. Troy lands an elbow inside.
 It looks like Alberto Flash has been cut. Troy throws an elbow but it's blocked.

and Flash counters with a single leg into guard. Troy didn't expect that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Flash drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Troy dives on top into guard. Troy wanted to stand there but Flash had control of the position. Troy stops Flash from standing up. Troy wanted to stand there but Flash had control of the position. Flash has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Flash throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Flash postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Troy wants to sweep but no luck. Flash missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Flash throwing strikes but missing. Flash loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Troy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight stays on the outside here - Flash looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Troy throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Troy lands a right hand. A head punch blocked on the inside by Flash. A head punch on the inside from Troy fails to land. Troy has had enough of the clinch but Flash keeps him there for the moment. Troy wants to break free but Flash has control.

and Flash counters by moving into the clinch. Troy scores with a shot to the side of Flash's head. Troy swings wildly with an uppercut but Flash uses good head movement to avoid it. Troy unloads a knee to the mid-section. Flash lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Flash with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Flash breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Flash will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Flash lands a body punch in the clinch. Flash tries to land a knee to the head but Troy blocks with his arms.

Flash's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Troy avoids the body shot from Flash.
Flash throws a lazy head kick and Troy counters with a nice body shot. Troy throws a nice head kick!

and Flash counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Troy! Troy tries to hold on but Flash postures up. Alberto Flash overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The referee warns Troy that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Flash unloading with bombs! Flash throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Alberto Flash dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Alberto Flash's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Flash takes the fight into the clinch. Troy keeps control of Flash as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Flash is working Troy over against the cage. Flash looking to throw knees to the head but Troy is blocking nicely.

Flash works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Troy wants to get back to his feet but Flash is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Flash with a flurry of punches that miss. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Troy controls Flash momentarily but Flash frees himself.

Flash decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Troy, up you get! Troy wants to clinch but Flash slips to the side
and Flash counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Troy's guard now.
Flash postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Troy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Flash, into his guard. Troy is looking to stand up but Flash won't let him. Flash keeping moving, preventing Troy from controlling successfully.
Flash had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Troy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Flash Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Troy's back instead. Troy controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Oooh a big shot gets through from Flash. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Troy is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Troy is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Troy grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Troy is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Flash is punishing Troy with strikes - can he finish him?!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Flash has Troy flattened out and is raining down punches. Troy has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Flash looking to soften up his opponent with punches.

Flash is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Troy knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Troy for a finish. Troy is trapped and Flash is scoring with shots to the head and body.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Flash misses with punches from the back. Troy just trying to survive but Flash is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Troy is trying to stand back up.
Flash is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Troy defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Troy is trying to get back to his feet but Flash has full control of the position and if anything, Troy has just worked his way into a worse spot. Danny Troy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Alberto Flash showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Flash, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mendez can't break the clinch.

Ko throws a right and a left that Mendez avoids nicely. Ko misses with a low kick.
Ko connects with a high kick. Ko stuffs the takedown attempt from Mendez. Mendez gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Mendez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mendez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

A close round but Katsu Ko will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

 Mendez is rocked!
 It looks like Dan Mendez has been cut. Ko feints a jab and as Mendez dips his head, Ko unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Mendez right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Mendez falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Ko smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Katsu Ko!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velasquez throws a shot from downtown. Gonzalez moves away and avoids it. Nice takedown defense from Gonzalez. No joy for Velasquez on that attempt.
Velasquez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Velasquez lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gonzalez will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Velasquez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gonzalez striking off his back.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva darts in and clinches McSweeney up against the cage. Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McSweeney avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. McSweeney lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Silva or not. A right hook to the body lands for McSweeney.
Silva drops down looking for an ankle pick but McSweeney pulls his leg out and moves away.

The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. McSweeney wants to control but Silva is having none of it. Silva is landing with some decent strikes but McSweeney is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Kampmann's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Kampmann crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Stevenson punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
