The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane blocks a head kick by McFatterson.
McFatterson is looking to clinch but Kane is avoiding it.
McFatterson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McFatterson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McFatterson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McFatterson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. McFatterson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! McFatterson blocks Kane's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McFatterson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kane is looking to get to half guard. Kane prevents McFatterson from taking his back. McFatterson looking to secure an arm triangle but Kane defends it well. Kane is desperately trying to improve his position but McFatterson has a good base and remains in mount. Kane throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McFatterson throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Kane has his hands clasped together but McFatterson breaks the hold and Kane is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by McFatterson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronson is looking to clinch but johnson is avoiding it.

johnson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Bronson wants to improve his position but johnson is controlling well.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bronson slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bronson is looking for a triangle but johnson pushes his legs off easily.
johnson tries to stand but Bronson is controlling from the bottom. johnson wants to control from the top but Bronson keeps moving. Bronson is looking to sinch up a triangle. johnson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bronson's body to avoid the submission. Bronson has instead reached around johnson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bronson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beckham slips a jab and a cross from Hardy.
Hardy tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Beckham swivels and escapes. Hardy shoots in looking for a takedown. Beckham tries to sprawl out of it but Hardy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Beckham manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Beckham cracks Hardy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Scott Hardy has been cut. Beckham decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hardy is looking to control Beckham's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hardy avoid being mounted? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beckham is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Beckham is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hardy is just riding it out for now. Beckham eventually gives up the hold. Hardy trying to control but Beckham postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beckham looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hardy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Beckham landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Hardy flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Hardy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Hardy is looking for a sweep. Beckham is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hardy trying to hold on to Beckham's head to control him but Beckham postures up.
Hardy is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Beckham seems to be working for a kimura but Hardy defends the submission attempt. Hardy trying to control here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hardy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hardy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Beckham is trying to stand. Hardy has control of Beckham's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Beckham regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hardy controlling the pace for now. Beckham wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hardy.

Beckham is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hardy working for a submission but Beckham is keeping him at bay. Beckham regains half guard. Beckham trying to hold on to Hardy's head to control him but Hardy postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Beckham looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hardy is keen to just control but Beckham is a slippery customer. Beckham is trying to stand.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Hardy closes the distance and clinches up with Beckham, looking for a takedown. Hardy pushes Beckham against the cage but Beckham circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Hardy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beckham throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hardy counters with a stiff right hand. Beckham tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hardy counters with a nice double leg into side control. Beckham won't be happy with that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Beckham dominated that round. The cut man is working on Scott Hardy's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Beckham is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hardy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Taoka throws a looping overhand right but Vidich ducks down to avoid it. Vidich slips under a jab. Nice sprawl there from Taoka as Vidich shoots in. Taoka rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vidich moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vidich feints and as Taoka raises his hands in defense, Vidich changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Taoka working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Vidich. Vidich avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Cheetos tries to move into range but Taylor moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Cheetos gets a takedown into half guard. Taylor scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Cheetos manages to mount him!
Cheetos is landing with some decent strikes but Taylor is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Taylor really wants to buck Cheetos off and get back to his feet. Cheetos is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Taylor lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Taylor throws a right hand that Cheetos ducks under and follows up with a left that Cheetos also avoids with ease. Cheetos fails with a takedown attempt. Taylor misses with a two punch combination.

Cheetos wants to clinch. Cheetos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Taylor is fending him off so far but Cheetos persists. Nope, Taylor circles away and we're back to standing. Taylor lands with an uppercut that bounces Cheetos off the cage and back into rage. Taylor connects with a single shot there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Taylor scores with a jab to the body. Taylor drops Cheetos with a left and a right! Oh, Cheetos is hurt - Taylor dives into side control looking to finish!
Cheetos is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Taylor stands up and beckons Cheetos to his feet. Cheetos is still on wobbly legs! Can Taylor finish him? Cheetos is looking to score with low kicks. Cheetos seems to have recovered his senses. Taylor fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Taylor is working the combinations to good effect here. Taylor scores with a jab. Cheetos acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Cheetos tries to close the distance and clinch but Taylor swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cheetos swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Gillingham lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively. Johnson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Gillingham lands a slapping body shot.

Gillingham's corner calls for a 1-2. Gillingham obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gillingham uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Johnson. Gillingham throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gillingham cracks Johnson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spartalainen drives through with a takedown into guard. Spartalainen thows a big elbow that misses. Larsen is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Larsen is on top in guard.
Spartalainen can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Larsen controls the pace. Larsen trying to control the position from guard on top but Spartalainen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Spartalainen is trying to get an arm triangle but Larsen is defending well. Larsen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Spartalainen asserts his dominance and retains side control.
