1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Jimenez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rene Schweidler! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jimenez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Schweidler tries to clinch but Jimenez is having none of it. Jimenez moves into range and clinches up with Schweidler. Schweidler lands a takedown into guard.
Schweidler tries to free his leg and advance position but Jimenez is retaining full guard. Jimenez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Schweidler trying to control but Jimenez is working from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Connor bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Oliva throws a lazy right hand but Connor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Oliva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Connor circles away quickly and effectively. Oh Connor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Oliva grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Connor takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Oliva cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
