The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boii bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Morgan tries to improve position but can't.
Morgan manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Morgan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Boii is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Morgan is pulling down on Boii's head to control his posture.

Morgan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boii can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Morgan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Boii drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Boii jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

It looks like Miles Carter has been cut.
Carter looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Carter wants to break the clinch but can't.
Vlad controlling the action here for a moment.

Vlad has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Carter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
