The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Bay looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bay throws a front kick aimed at Blaster's knee but Blaster avoids it well. Bay looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Blaster! Blaster is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bay scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bay is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Blaster can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bay has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Blaster's face.

Blaster is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bay's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bay's back! Bay rolls, trying to escape but Blaster keeps control of the position.

Bay must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Blaster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bay is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blaster throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Bay on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Blaster cracks Bay with a right hand to the side of the head. Bay throws a body punch but Blaster moves out of range. That's two minutes gone in the round. Blaster works Bay's body with a nice hook. Some bone on bone action there as Blaster checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Bay takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bay throws a wild body kick that Blaster sees coming a mile off. Danga de danga de dang - Blaster scores with a four punch combination! Bay tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Blaster is able to avoid easily. Blaster lands a right hook to the body.
Blaster is looking to wear down Bay with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Bay takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bay throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bay takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Blaster connects with a body shot. Bay moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Blaster throws a nice looking combination but Bay bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Blaster looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blaster landing with the ground and pound. Blaster throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Blaster not landing any meaningful shots this time. Blaster working over Bay with some ground and pound. Bay looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bay wants to improve his position but Blaster is controlling well.

Bay on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Bay throws a leg kick and Blaster counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bay thinking. Bay is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bay tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blaster was well out of range. Poor timing from Bay.

Wade sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mentalio tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wade paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wade scores with a decent looking hook. Mentalio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mentalio is trying to get back to full guard. Wade lands strikes from half guard. Wade tries to pass to full mount but Mentalio defends it. Remmi moves in looking to clinch but Greyven pushes him off. Remmi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. The crowd cheers as Greyven lands an impressive looking overhand right. Remmi doesn't seem phased though. Remmi with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Greyven to score with a decent uppercut. Greyven moves out of range of the body kick from Remmi.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Greyven won't allow Remmi to get back to his feet. Greyven looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Remmi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Remmi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Remmi. Greyven trying to control but Remmi is working from the bottom. Remmi wants to stand up but Greyven is controlling him. Greyven content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Greyven is working Remmi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Greyven throws a big right hand that misses. Remmi has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Greyven off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Remmi connects with a high kick.
It looks like Rennet Greyven has been cut. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Remmi gets off balance looking for a body kick and Greyven makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Greyven scores with a takedown into Remmi's guard. Greyven with a flurry of punches that miss.

Greyven showed some decent athleticism there. Remmi blocking the ground and pound attempt from Greyven. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Remmi looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Greyven connects with a nice short shot to Remmi's temple. Remmi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Remmi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greyven can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Remmi wants to sweep here but Greyven controlling him for the moment.
