Bearhazard has chosen Ratm - Killing in the name of as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Larry Bearhazard has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bearhazard tries to clinch up but Jane circles away and keeps his distance.

Bearhazard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bearhazard looks to land a combination but Jane avoids it well.

Jane has taken the fight to the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Bearhazard wants to get back to striking at distance but Jane won't allow it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Jane bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bearhazard pushes Jane away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jane gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Bearhazard takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bearhazard on the ground.

Well Otter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Murphy at a distance.

and Ribeiro counters with a stiff right hand.

Murphy drops his hands momentarily and Ribeiro takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Ribeiro counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Murphy cracks Ribeiro with a right hand to the side of the head.
Ribeiro looks to land a combination but Murphy avoids it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ribeiro had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Murphy is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ribeiro Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Murphy's back instead.

Murphy wants to free his trapped foot but Ribeiro is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Ribeiro is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Murphy pulls his head out easily.
Murphy wants to advance to full mount but Ribeiro doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Murphy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ribeiro swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Murphy connects with a right hand. Ribeiro shakes it off.
Murphy drops Ribeiro with a big left hand and mounts him. Ribeiro is in big trouble!

Murphy is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ribeiro has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ribeiro!
Ribeiro wants to control from the top but Murphy keeps moving.

Murphy has his foot on Ribeiro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ribeiro works his way back into a safe position though.
Murphy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ribeiro scores with a one two! Murphy had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Murphy throws a right and a left that Ribeiro avoids nicely.
Ribeiro takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ribeiro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Murphy circles away quickly and effectively.

and Ribeiro counters with a series of strikes. Murphy will be more careful next time no doubt.
