The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gregorivich moves out of range as Mendes strikes. Edson Mendes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mendes is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mendes checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Jab from Mendes. A combination from Gregorivich does no damage. Gregorivich misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gregorivich takes a swing at Mendes's ribcage but misses. A chopping leg kick lands by Gregorivich. Mendes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mendes tries a head kick but it misses.
Gregorivich has Mendes up against the cage in a clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mendes. Gregorivich does a little dance to reset his feet. Nice shot by Mendes. He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Mendes is bucking up trying to escape but Gregorivich cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Gregorivich is going olschool here, as he tries to force Mendes to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mendes shrugs it off. Gregorivich trying to control but he's not successful this time. Gregorivich pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gregorivich controlling the pace for now. Mendes working to try and regain half guard.
Gregorivich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mendes is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Mendes throws a nice looking combination but Gregorivich bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mendes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gregorivich counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Gregorivich misses with a few strikes there.
Gregorivich lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Gregorivich drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gregorivich connects with a couple of short punches. Gregorivich sitting in guard, not really doing much. Mendes is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gregorivich advances position into side control! Mendes is breathing heavily. Gregorivich is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gregorivich has escaped and now he's on top! Gregorivich passes Mendes's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Gregorivich perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Gregorivich gets control of Mendes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Gregorivich will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Mendes is fighting to break Gregorivich's control of his arms but Gregorivich is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Gregorivich not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gregorivich wants to sweep but no luck. Mendes wants to stand but Gregorivich is controlling his posture from full guard. Gregorivich is pulling down on Mendes's head to control his posture. Gregorivich tries to strike from the bottom.

Gregorivich manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gregorivich thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gregorivich pushes down on Mendes's leg and manages to get into half guard. Mendes is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Gregorivich pulls his head out easily. Gregorivich passes to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gregorivich lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Mendes down.
Gregorivich takes a little break here. Mendes wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Gregorivich has an Americana. Mendes didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gregorivich is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gregorivich hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dasari is looking to land body kicks. Nice takedown defense from Lopes. No joy for Dasari on that attempt. Lopes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Dasari connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Dasari moves into range and clinches up with Lopes. Dasari escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dasari misses with a hook. Lopes ducked under it nicely. Lopes tries to keep at a distance but Dasari has taken the fight into the clinch. Come on Dasari - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lopes tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lopes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lopes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Dasari working some strikes from top position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Dasari sitting in guard here, content to control. Dasari seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lopes for as long as he can get away with. Dasari avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lopes looks gassed! Dasari is working Lopes over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lopes is on top in guard.

Lopes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Dasari pulls Lopes in close to prevent any damage. Dasari manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Dasari controlling from the full mount. Dasari's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lopes tries to reverse the position but Dasari maintains control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dasari is landing with some decent strikes but Lopes is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Dasari prevents Lopes from getting the reversal. Dasari looking to finish Lopes with some ground and pound. This is bad for Lopes! Lopes has left one of his arms exposed and Dasari doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Lopes screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Galvao is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Roosevelt reverses the position - he's now on top in Galvao's guard. Roosevelt is sitting in close to Galvao's body. Galvao has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Roosevelt is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Roosevelt is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Galvao.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bangizwe stuffs the takedown. Harper shoots in looking for a takedown. Bangizwe tries to sprawl out of it but Harper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bangizwe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Harper fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Harper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bangizwe connects with a solid leg kick. Harper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bangizwe tries to avoid it but Harper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bangizwe to the ground. Bangizwe escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bangizwe buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Harper throws a leg kick and Bangizwe counters with a nice leg kick. Harper is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harper shoots in and drives through. Bangizwe sprawls well. Bangizwe feints and then cracks Harper's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harper down. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bangizwe, right into the meat.
Bangizwe scores with a sloppy right hand. Harper should have avoided that one.
It looks like John Harper has been cut. Bangizwe moves into range and connects with a jab. John Harper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bangizwe scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Bangizwe lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
John Harper's cut is getting worse. Bangizwe throws a nice inside leg kick. Bangizwe fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Harper. Bangizwe looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Harper. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Bangizwe paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
John Harper's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Bangizwe scores with a leg kick.
Bangizwe lands a head kick that stumbles Harper and the fighters go to the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bangizwe gets to his feet. Harper looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! A chopping leg kick lands by Bangizwe. Harper on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bangizwe. Bangizwe obviously looking to wear him down.
Bangizwe lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Bangizwe circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Harper drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Bangizwe follows Harper to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heller stuffs the takedown. Nice defenses there by Heller. carlos miguel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heller stuffs the takedown attempt from miguel. miguel gets slowly back to his feet. miguel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Heller moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Heller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beans misses with a double jab.
Beans misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Zola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zola throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beans stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Beans shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Zola is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Beans's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Beans's back! Beans tries to break free.
Zola looking to break Beans's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Beans remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Zola will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Beans covering up well and avoiding damage. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Beans closes the distance and clinches up with Zola, looking for a takedown. Beans pushes Zola against the cage but Zola circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Beans drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Zola has his foot on Beans's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Beans works his way back into a safe position though. Zola looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beans is one step ahead there. Beans thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Zola tries to land a sweep but no joy. Beans postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Zola is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Beans, into his guard. Beans looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Zola passes into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Zola tries to move into full mount but can't pass Beans's legs. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beans closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Beans lands in his opponent's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beans wants to pass the guard but Zola is keeping the position.

Nope, Holmes circles away and we're back to standing. Fellows misses with a takedown attempt - Holmes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Holmes connects with a nice looking jab.

Holmes seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fellows escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Holmes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Holmes is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Fellows Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Holmes's back instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fellows lands a shot to the body. Fellows struggling to land strikes to the head as Holmes covers up.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Holmes, as that shot connected.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Damien Fellows's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
