0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorge Samuel! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Samuel gets the takedown into side control. North is trying to control Samuel's posture but Samuel avoids it. Samuel tries to score with some ground and pound. North controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Samuel throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and North works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. North keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Samuel is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. North has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samuel throws a big right hand that misses. Samuel wants to pass the guard but North is keeping the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Samuel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Samuel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Samuel landing with the ground and pound. North utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Samuel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Samuel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. North uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Samuel has time to react. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Samuel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from North. Nice sprawl there from North as Samuel shoots in. North shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Samuel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Samuel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Samuel avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. North managing to control the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Samuel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. North is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Samuel defends well. Samuel makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Some wild striking there from North.
Samuel gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and North counters with a three punch combo that has Samuel backing up. Samuel nods at North to acknowledge the strikes. North shoots and misses and Samuel counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for North! Samuel throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for North because Samuel loaded up on that one. North tries to hold on but Samuel pushes him away. North wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Samuel.
North holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Samuel tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's one minute gone in the round. North is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
North tries to hold on but Samuel pushes him away. North is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Samuel thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Samuel looking to finish North with some ground and pound. This is bad for North! Samuel sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Samuel lands with some strikes. Samuel throws some wild stikes that North manages to avoid easily.
Samuel thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Samuel throwing strikes but North recovers to half guard. A much better position. Samuel sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. North defending well though. Samuel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Samuel thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing North to regain full guard. Samuel advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Samuel not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Samuel throws a strike but North avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Samuel missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. North controls Samuel momentarily but Samuel frees himself. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Samuel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Samuel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. North is keeping the position for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. North is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Samuel circles away from the clinch attempt and Samuel decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in North's guard. Samuel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. North swivels though and keeps the full guard. Samuel landing with the ground and pound. Samuel throwing strikes from guard but North blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Samuel is looking to advance position but North has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! North putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! North trying to control but Samuel is having none of it. Samuel is trying to reverse the position but instead North has taken his back - oops! You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Samuel. North working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Samuel. Samuel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. North swivels though and keeps the full guard. North pulls Samuel in close to prevent any damage. Samuel lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Samuel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as North works some decent striking defense from the bottom. North trying to keep a closed guard but Samuel is proving a slippery customer.
North has momentary wrist control but Samuel slips an elbow through the middle. Samuel got a little sloppy there for a moment and North has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Samuel has managed to get both his arms back between North's legs - danger averted. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Samuel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Samuel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that's the end of the fight! Jorge Samuel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Samuel winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Triton sprawling to the canvas. Long follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Triton hang on?
It looks like Zobal Triton has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Long wants to take a breather but Triton is having none of it. Triton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Triton tries to get out of the position. Triton is trying to stand back up but Long is controlling him
Long moves into full mount! Triton won't be happy about that! Long lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Triton hang on? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Triton is squirming around, avoiding Long's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Long there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slutskaya lands with an uppercut that bounces Progresso off the cage and back into rage. Progresso looks to land a combination but Slutskaya avoids it well. Progresso moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Progresso scores with a hook to the body. Slutskaya takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Progresso checks a leg kick. Slutskaya walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Progresso misses with a low kick. Progresso lands a slapping body shot.
Slutskaya jabs Progresso right on the nose. Progresso blinks but takes it well. Slutskaya shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Progresso keeping control of the position. Progresso tries to roll over but Slutskaya keeps him under control. Slutskaya prevents Progresso from standing back up.

No luck this time Slutskaya. Slutskaya is trying to control the action in half guard but Progresso is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Slutskaya tries to keep at a distance but Progresso has taken the fight into the clinch. Progresso lands a hook that snaps the head of Slutskaya backwards. A right hand to the body from Progresso.
Progresso misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Slutskaya.
Progresso tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Slutskaya wants to stall.
Progresso lands with a right to the head. Progresso digs a right hand into Slutskaya's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Slutskaya's gas tank. Progresso pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Progresso lands a damaging elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Progresso. Progresso escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Slutskaya looks to land a body kick but Progresso moved away. Progresso scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Slutskaya doesn't seem bothered though. Slutskaya looks gassed! Slutskaya shoots for a double leg takedown but Progresso sprawls well. He's pushed Slutskaya's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Progresso with a body punch. A glancing blow. A jab from Progresso finds it's way through Slutskaya's defenses. Progresso scores with a hook. Progresso lands a really nice looking cross but Slutskaya seems unphased.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Progresso cracks Slutskaya with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Progresso has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Slutskaya to stand back up!
Slutskaya is rocked! Progresso lands an uppercut, right on the button! Slutskaya tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Clark keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Clark changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smith looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Smith is breathing heavily. Clark sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Smith is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jamison ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Vand de Housen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Vand de Housen tries to clinch but Jamison is having none of it. Vand de Housen motions for Jamison to come forward. Vand de Housen throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jamison lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Vand de Housen backs up against the cage.
It looks like Patrick Vand de Housen has been cut. Jamison jabs Vand de Housen right on the nose. Vand de Housen blinks but takes it well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jamison is defended easily by Vand de Housen. Jamison missing with a left hand there. Vand de Housen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Vand de Housen throws a leg kick that misses. Vand de Housen throws a head kick that misses. Jamison is looking to clinch. Jamison looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jamison swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jeremy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Skinner.
Skinner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jeremy tries to avoid it but Skinner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jeremy to the ground. Jeremy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Skinner gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jeremy. Jeremy stalks Skinner and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Skinner's face. Skinner staggers backwards, shaken. Jeremy lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Skelter. That did some damage! Skelter slaps away a takedown attempt from Stevens, before circling back to the center of the mat. Stevens throws a head kick that misses. Stevens tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Sufjan Stevens seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A lazy left from Skelter finds it's target. Stevens is looking to clinch but Skelter is avoiding it.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Skelter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Skelter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jimmy Skelter seems to be getting the better of the standup. Skelter lands a jab to the head.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from King does no damage. King displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Trueman. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Trueman. Trueman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around King's waist but King gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trueman off to one side. Brian King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sean Trueman. Trueman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by King.
Trueman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Trueman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Nice body punch from King. Trueman looks gassed! King waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Trueman.
