 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow fails with an attempt to clinch.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ray's waist but Ray gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Durin off to one side. Durin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ray but Ray pushes him off and we're back to square one. Durin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ray scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Durin throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Durin gets back to half guard. Ray perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Ray wants to work for an arm triangle but Durin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Durin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ray seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Durin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Ray isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Durin stacks Ray on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Durin!

Durin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ray looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ray wants to control but Durin postures up.
