The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blackfoot throws an overhand right that lands on Mane's shoulder, as Mane tries to avoid the shot.
Mane shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blackfoot as he avoids it easily.
Blackfoot throws a hook but Mane blocks it.
Mane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Mane keeps the fight on the outside.
Mane staying out of range there.
Blackfoot misses with a wild body shot.
Blackfoot throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mane sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mane shoots in for a takedown but Blackfoot shows good takedown defense.
Blackfoot thows a left - swing and a miss!
Blackfoot is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mane.
Blackfoot throws a shot from downtown. Mane moves away and avoids it.
Mane has a takedown stuffed.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blackfoot looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Blackfoot's guard.
Mane is pressing down on Blackfoot's thigh, looking to free his foot. Blackfoot is holding on for now.
Blackfoot is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mane jumps into side control!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Mane counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Blackfoot!

Blackfoot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mane shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Blackfoot manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Blackfoot had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Blackfoot Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mane's back instead.
Mane manages to escape to a better position under a series of strikes. Blackfoot is now in side control.
Mane dodges the ground and pound from Blackfoot.
Blackfoot lands a few punches from side control.
Mane sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Mane wants to improve his position but Blackfoot is controlling well.

Blackfoot drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mane looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mane looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mane!

Gucci Mane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Blackfoot throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mane escapes and throws Blackfoot's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Blackfoot is looking to improve his position but Mane isn't that keen on the idea.

Mane tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Blackfoot is trying to reverse the position but instead Mane has taken his back - oops!

Mane is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Blackfoot is defending well though. Mane let's go of the attempt for now.
I really don't envy Blackfoot right now.

TW fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Strop avoids it really well and circles away.

Strop throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. TW was covering up waiting for the punch and Strop finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Strop might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control TW kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
