 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bush takes a swing at Dhadphale's ribcage but misses. Bush throws an overhand right that lands on Dhadphale's shoulder, as Dhadphale tries to avoid the shot. Bush looks to land a left hand but Dhadphale moved out of range nicely. Dhadphale on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A big right from Bush misses. Dhadphale takes a shot right to the bread basket. The fight stays on the outside here - Dhadphale looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dhadphale tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bush closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Dhadphale out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Dragunov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silakka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Silakka is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Dragunov asserts his dominance and retains side control. Dragunov is looking to take a break and control but Silakka is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dragunov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Silakka is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dragunov yanks on the arm and Silakka is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dragunov.

Loppi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Loppi stopping the sweep attempt from Brettzky.
Loppi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Loppi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Brettzky trying to keep a closed guard but Loppi is proving a slippery customer.

Laitela shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Laitela was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Laitela throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Sithole throwing hammer fists to the chest of Laitela. What's that going to do exactly? Sithole squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
