The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakamoto avoids the head kick by Oyama.

Sakamoto misses with a takedown attempt - Oyama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Oyama tries a head kick but it misses.
Oyama misses with a body kick. Sakamoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Oyama sprawls well. He's pushed Sakamoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The fighters circling - Oyama throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sakamoto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oyama as he avoids it easily. Masutatsu Oyama has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ran Sakamoto. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oyama tries to avoid it but Sakamoto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oyama to the ground. Oyama escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. No joy there for Oyama, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nice takedown defense from Oyama. No joy for Sakamoto on that attempt. Oyama misses with a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Sakamoto tries for a takedown but Oyama sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Oyama throws a nice looking combination but Sakamoto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Oyama lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sakamoto backs up against the ropes.

Sakamoto wants to clinch up but Oyama keeps it at a distance. Masutatsu Oyama is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sakamoto doesn't manage to clinch there - Oyama circles away.

Oyama throws a sloppy head kick and Sakamoto moves out of range easily. Sakamoto throws a combination that misses and Oyama counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sakamoto wants to clinch up but Oyama keeps it at a distance. Sakamoto looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sakamoto is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sakamoto wants to work for an arm triangle but Oyama is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sakamoto is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Sakamoto tries to pass to full mount but Oyama defends it. Oyama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sakamoto on the ground. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Oyama is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Sakamoto pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Masutatsu Oyama dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

so Sakamoto counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sakamoto wants to pass the guard but Oyama is keeping the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Sakamoto drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Oyama manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sakamoto has Oyama in his guard. Oyama will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oyama seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sakamoto keeping moving, preventing Oyama from controlling successfully. Sakamoto working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oyama doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sakamoto is tightening it up a little... Oyama has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Oyama reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Oyama taps out! nice BJJ there by Sakamoto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chung Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Yu paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Yu wants to control but Lee postures up. Lee scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Yu to see if he's OK.
It looks like Jack Yu has been cut. Yu struggling a bit here. Lee grinds an elbow into Yu's temple. Yu is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Yu wants to control but Lee postures up. Yu is looking to reverse the position. Yu is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lee asserts his dominance and retains side control. Lee wants to control but Yu is keeping him busy.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Yu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yu is fending him off so far but Lee persists. Nope, Yu circles away and we're back to standing. Yu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Yu has his takedown stuffed and Lee counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Lee keeps control of Yu as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A nice right hand lands inside from Lee. Lee stalls. Lee trying to stall but Yu improves his position.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Yu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Yu misses with a combination
and Lee counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Yu looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Yu is breathing heavily. Nice strikes from Lee there. Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yu trying to hold on to Lee's head to control him but Lee postures up.

Jack Yu's cut is getting worse. Yu looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Lee scoring with strikes to the body and head. This has been an exciting period of action! Yu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lee lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lee is nestled in close to Yu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Lee working Yu over with strikes. Lee is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Jack Yu's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yu on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Lee winds up and cracks Yu with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lee connects with a nice short shot to Yu's temple.
Jeez, Jack Yu's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

King throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holmen. King thows a left - swing and a miss! Holmen gets the takedown into side control. Holmen tries to advance to mount but can't. King is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Holmen trying to control the position but King is working away. A lull in the action here as Holmen stalls from top position. Holmen misses with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holmen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Holmen in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. King is looking for a sweep. Holmen has worked his way into a potential kimura here. King is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Holmen yanks on the arm and King is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Holmen.

Rockefeller throws a left that rocks Brunt and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Rockefeller dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Brunt regain composure!

Rockefeller slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Brunt looks for a takedown but Rockefeller sprawls well. Nice body kick from Rockefeller. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Rockefeller dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santi tries to clinch up. Hickman jabbing away but nothing is landing. Hickman throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hickman moves out of range of the strikes. Santi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hickman as he avoids it easily. Santi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hickman misses with a hook. Santi ducked under it nicely. Santi is looking to clinch. Santi slips under a jab. Santi scores a takedown into full mount! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Santi trying to control but he's not successful this time. Santi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hickman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hickman is squirming around, avoiding Santi's attempts to control the action. Santi looking to secure an arm triangle but Hickman defends it well. Hickman has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Santi misses with an elbow to the head. Hickman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hickman trying to get back to his feet but Santi is in full control for now. Santi working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Hickman is doing well to defend. Santi seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Hickman is forced to tap and this one is over!

Dagani fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dagani takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Dagani scores to the head and body with a nice combination! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dagani throws a series of punches but Aronoff avoids them all with ease. Aronoff does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Aronoff takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Dagani throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dagani thows a body shot but no joy. Aronoff takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Aronoff is breathing heavily. Dagani tries to land a leg kick but Aronoff saw it coming and moves away.
Dagani is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aronoff. Aronoff misses with a jab, cross combination.
