The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sobrawl darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Sobrawl is controlling the pace.

Sagat wants to control the action here but instead Sobrawl manages to pass to full mount! Sobrawl prevents Sagat from getting the reversal. Sagat wants to hold on but Sobrawl pushes him away. Sobrawl wants to control the pace but Sagat is squirming around nicely. Sobrawl with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Walker! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rua looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Walker looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Let's hope that Walker has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Rua throwing strikes from guard but Walker blocks nicely. Rua stopping the sweep attempt from Walker. Walker pulls Rua in close to prevent any damage. Walker pushes Rua off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Rua is breathing heavily. Rua shoots in and drives through. Walker sprawls well. Walker throws a right and a left that both miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Walker checks a low kick from Rua. Walker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Walker staying out of range there. Rua tries to bum rush Walker with a series of wild strikes but Walker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Walker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rua's guard. Walker is in close to Rua's body, working some short punches and elbows. Walker gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Walker rushes Rua and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Walker prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rua drops down looking for an ankle pick but Walker pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rampage Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rua with a poor takedown and Rua takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Walker moves into range and clinches up with Rua. Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rua swats away the attempt to clinch by Walker. Walker tries to clinch up. Rua with a poor takedown and Walker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rua is rocked! Walker doesn't manage to clinch there - Rua circles away.
Walker has closed the distance and engaged Rua in a clinch.

Walker fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rua, pushing him back against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Walker works on Rua's body with a couple of short punches. Walker lands a takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rua is on top in guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walker can do anything to dispel that myth. Rua wanted to stand there but Walker had control of the position. Walker wants to stand up but Rua is controlling him. Rua wants to stand but Walker is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Walker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rua's guard. Walker stands up and waves to Rua to follow him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua throws a leg kick which misses Walker's front leg but catches the back leg as Walker tries to avoid it. Rua misses with a low kick as Walker jumps back. Rampage Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rua looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Walker stands up and beckons Rua to his feet. Rua tries to clinch and Walker counters with a right hand to the body. Walker closes the distance and clinches. Walker lands a shot to the body. Walker breaks the clinch.
Rua misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Walker.

Rua misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rua tries to clinch but fails miserably and Walker counters with a takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rua is looking to regain half guard here but Walker keeps moving and retains side control. Walker moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rua has escaped the position, nice work there. Rua taking punishment in the form of punches.
Walker works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Walker in side control, just content to control the action for now. Rua sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Walker stalling. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walker decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Rua staying out of range there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Walker dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Walker looks to clinch and Rua counters with a three punch combo that has Walker backing up. Walker nods at Rua to acknowledge the strikes. Rua throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rua misses with a takedown attempt and Walker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Rua drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Walker takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Rua fails to land with a series of punches.
Rua keeps the fight on the outside. Rua looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Rua misses with a takedown and Walker counters with a shoot takedown. Rua fights it but they end up in guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rampage Rua. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walker stands up and waves to Rua to follow him. Walker clinches. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walker looking to slow down the pace here. Rua drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rua is looking for a sweep. Rua takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Walker scores with punches from side control. Walker passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Rua! Walker is landing with some decent strikes but Rua is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Rua is wriggling around trying to escape.
Walker has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Rua wants to hold on but Walker pushes him away. Rua can't escape the position.
You get the feeling that Rua really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Rua is working hard here to advance position. Walker content just to control the position here. Rua is looking to improve his position but Walker isn't that keen on the idea. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Walker looking to control and managing it successfully. Paul Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Rua's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Walker working for a guillotine from mount but Rua is in no mood to give up. Rua throws a strike from the bottom but Walker uses the opportunity to take his back. Walker controlling well, preventing Rua from escaping the position.
Walker really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Rua. Walker lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Rua is in bad spot here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rua trying to get back to his feet but Walker is in full control for now. Rua is trying to break free.

And that's the end of the fight! Paul Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Fortuna is squeezing on The Juggernaut like an anaconda would it's prey. The Juggernaut fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tray wants to clinch up but Dayne keeps it at a distance. Tray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dayne pinned against the cage. Dayne gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Tray throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dayne closes the distance and clinches up with Tray, looking for a takedown. Dayne pushes Tray against the cage but Tray circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dayne closes the distance and clinches. A short uppercut from Dayne. Tray tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dayne smiles and moves away.

Nope, Tray circles away and we're back to standing. Dayne tries to clinch but fails miserably and Tray counters with a series of strikes. Dayne will be more careful next time no doubt. Nice takedown defense from Tray. No joy for Dayne on that attempt. Dayne closes the distance but Tray moves to the side and Tray counters with a body kick that stops Dayne in his tracks momentarily. A nice leg kick lands there from Tray. Tray gets a takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Tray is tying to control. Dayne wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Tray wants to pass the guard but Dayne is defending well. Dayne manages to get to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dayne looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tray puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Dayne keeping control of the position. Dayne gets full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dayne is on top in guard.
Dayne slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Dayne lands a decent elbow from side control. Dayne lands some shots froms side control. A lull in the action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tray explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Ash Tray has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dayne changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tray looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tray throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
