2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Shane Valcone! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valcone defending well as Fox loads up on a big left hand. Valcone is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fox swings for the body but Valcone moves out of range.
Valcone uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fox.
Fox jabs at Valcone's body. Fox dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A telegraphed right hand from Fox misses the target. Fox misses with a straight right. Fox fails with an attempt to clinch.
Valcone stuffs the takedown. Fox catches Valcone napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Valcone to the canvas!
 Valcone is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fox showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Fox avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Valcone controls Fox momentarily but Fox frees himself. Fox controls from within his opponent's guard.
Valcone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Valcone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fox gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Valcone looks gassed!
Valcone had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Fox is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Valcone Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Fox's back instead.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fox trying to control the action but Valcone just sinks the hooks in. Fox wants to get back to his feet.
Valcone is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Fox defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Valcone has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Fox has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox covering up well under a barage of strikes. Fox tries to roll but Valcone sticks to his back.
Fox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Valcone on the ground. Fox tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Valcone has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Fox's face.
Valcone throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Fox because Valcone loaded up on that one. Valcone thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Valcone is going olschool here, as he tries to force Fox to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fox shrugs it off. Valcone trying to control but Fox is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fox blocking the ground and pound.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Poor strikes thrown by Valcone there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Valcone throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Fox wants to hold on but Valcone pushes him away.

Fox lands a glancing blow to the side of Valcone's head. Fox throws a hook to the side of Valcone's head but Valcone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Fox tries to bum rush Valcone with a series of wild strikes but Valcone uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fox takes a swing at Valcone's ribcage but misses. Fox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Valcone controlling the action here. Valcone lands strikes from half guard. Valcone looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Valcone stalling. Fox pushes Valcone off looking to stand but Valcone dives back in and keeps control.

Fox swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Fox keeps the fight on the outside. Valcone wants to clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fox takes a swing at Valcone's ribcage but misses. Valcone keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Valcone tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fox paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fox misses with an uppercut. Fox wants to clinch up but Valcone keeps it at a distance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Valcone doesn't manage to clinch there - Fox circles away.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice jab there from Leon. Vieira gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Leon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Vieira's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Vieira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Leon swivels and escapes. Leon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Leon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Leon lands a big shot that drops Vieira! Can he finish him?
 Vieira is rocked!
Leon stands up from guard. Let's bang! Leon thuds a left hand into Vieira's body. Vieira looks gassed! Leon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Vieira is still on wobbly legs! Can Leon finish him? Leon ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Vieira's jaw. Vieira's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Leon does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ugen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Freeze tries to avoid it but Ugen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Freeze to the ground. Freeze escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Freeze keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ugen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blitz Ugen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Freeze shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Freeze showed some decent athleticism there.
Freeze seems to be working for a kimura but Ugen defends the submission attempt.
Ugen makes his way to full guard, as Freeze worked for a kimura.
Freeze drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ugen dives on top into guard.

Ugen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Freeze to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ugen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Freeze pulls down on the head and he's put Ugen to sleep! This one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Codazzi clobbers Stone with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Stone moves in looking to clinch but Codazzi pushes him off. Codazzi avoids the head kick by Stone.

The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Stone cracks the inside of Codazzi's front leg. Codazzi looks gassed! Stone throws a head kick that Codazzi semi-blocks.

Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stone wants to control the pace but Codazzi is squirming around nicely. Stone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Let's see if Codazzi can do anything to dispel that myth. Codazzi has given up his back here. Will Stone look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Fraga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Guerra counters with a good, hard body kick but Fraga shrugs it off.

Fraga shoots in and bounces Guerra off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fraga keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Guerra's head.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fraga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Guerra's waist but Guerra gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fraga off to one side.

Fraga has picked Guerra up - he's going for a ride! Fraga dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Fraga lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Guerra avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fraga. Guerra makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Guerra.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fraga distracts Guerra with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Guerra tries to avoid it but Fraga manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guerra to the ground. Guerra escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Guerra fails with the takedown. Fraga with a lazy takedown attempt and Guerra cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Denis Fraga. Fraga tries for a takedown but Guerra circles away easily and Guerra counters with a big head kick but Fraga shrugs it off. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Guerra shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fraga as he jumps to the side. Fraga fails with the takedown and Guerra counters with a three punch combo that has Fraga backing up. Fraga nods at Guerra to acknowledge the strikes. Fraga shoots in for a takedown but Guerra shows good takedown defense. Fraga misses with a takedown attempt - Guerra sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Denis Fraga. 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ray Charles! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Charles looks to land a combination but Rilley avoids it well. Charles scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rilley doesn't seem bothered though. Charles swats away the attempt to clinch by Rilley. Rilley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Charles. Rilley takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
 It looks like Robbie Rilley has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Charles tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rilley was well out of range. Poor timing from Charles. Rilley shoots for a takedown but Charles saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Charles lands a nice shot to the body.
Rilley is breathing heavily. Rilley switches off momentarily and Charles cracks him with a monster right hand! Rilley topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Charles dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Charles!

He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Lanter just on the top of the head. Lanter drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah!
