Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Edgar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, James Dunlop! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edgar fails to land with a series of punches.
Edgar takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dunlop looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Dunlop showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Edgar.
Edgar tries to clinch and Dunlop holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Dunlop is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Edgar takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Matt Edgar has been cut. Edgar can't break the clinch.

Dunlop goes for an armbar but Edgar turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Edgar. Edgar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dunlop kicks Edgar off and gets to his feet. Matt Edgar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dunlop is looking to clinch but Edgar is avoiding it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marsh wants to control but Dragon postures up. Dragon is putting a hurting on Marsh here, landing some big shots from side control. Dragon blocks the strikes from Marsh.
Dragon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Marsh tries to buck Dragon off but Dragon is having none of it. Dragon is looking to take a break and control but Marsh is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Marsh gets caught flat footed, as Dragon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dragon stands up over Marsh, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Marsh thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Marsh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dragon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dragon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Marsh had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dragon is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Marsh Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dragon's back instead. Dragon trying to control the position but Marsh manages to sink in the hooks. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Marsh.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Marsh takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Dragon is in a horrible position here. Marsh smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Quid stands and throws Wallace's legs to the side, diving into side control. Quid tries for a kimura but Wallace is defending well. Quid tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Quid wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working. Wallace is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Quid wants to take a breather but Wallace is having none of it. Quid not landing any meaningful shots this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quid works his foot free and advances to mount. Quid connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tree Jones! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Brown! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. No luck for Brown with that takedown attempt. Brown shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one. Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground. Brown working some strikes from top position. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brown pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Brown is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Brown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Brown misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tree Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Brown. Brown closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away. Jones tests Brown's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jones with a body punch. A glancing blow. Brown looks gassed! Brown gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jones throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease. Jones digs a good hook to Brown's body.
Jones goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Brown drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jones swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Brown's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
