0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Wasabi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Connor Black! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wasabi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Black moves out of range of the strikes. Wasabi scores with a nice right hand.
 It looks like Connor Black has been cut. Wasabi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Black slips a jab and a cross from Wasabi.
Black darts in and clinches Wasabi up against the ropes. Black looks gassed! Wasabi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Black has him pressed against the ropes. A battle for position here, against the ropes. Wasabi wants to break the clinch but can't.
Black breaks the clinch.
Wasabi lands a jab to Black's midsection. Wasabi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Black sprawling to the canvas! Black rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wasabi finish him?!
Wasabi throws a series of punches but Black avoids them all with ease. Wasabi drops Black with a huge uppercut! Black drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Wasabi is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Wasabi!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Suk Spartakus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Benito Verde! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Verde throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Spartakus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Verde fails with a takedown attempt. Spartakus takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Verde tries to clinch up but Spartakus circles away and keeps his distance.
Spartakus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Verde looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Verde dodges the ground and pound from Spartakus. Spartakus sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Verde is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Verde sneaks back into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Verde is looking to improve his position.
Spartakus stalling away here and it's allowed Verde to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Verde is looking for a triangle but Spartakus pushes his legs off easily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Verde is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Spartakus stopping the sweep attempt from Verde. Spartakus content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Verde looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Spartakus has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Verde is trying to keep Spartakus in close.
Verde should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Spartakus tries to free his leg and advance position but Verde is retaining full guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Spartakus throws a big right hand that misses. Verde looking to control.
Spartakus postures up in Verde's guard and throws a big left but Verde blocks it. Spartakus trying to control the position from guard on top but Verde is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Spartakus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Verde throws a sloppy head kick and Spartakus moves out of range easily. Spartakus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Spartakus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Verde looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Spartakus misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Verde regains half guard there - taking advantage of Spartakus's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. Verde trying to control here.

Spartakus is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Verde defends it well. Verde has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Spartakus is working away from the top position though.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Spartakus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Spartakus walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
 It looks like Suk Spartakus has been cut. Verde with a poor takedown
and Spartakus counters with a takedown into side control. Verde gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Verde is pressing down on Spartakus's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Spartakus with a flurry of punches that miss. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Spartakus's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Spartakus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Verde on the ground. Verde being controlled here, momentarily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Verde looking for a sweep. Not yet Verde, not yet. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Benito Verde will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Suk Spartakus's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Verde stuffs the takedown attempt from Spartakus. Spartakus gets slowly back to his feet. Spartakus smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Verde shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Spartakus counters with a nice double leg into guard. Spartakus wants to control from the top but Verde keeps moving. Spartakus with a nice head shot there. Spartakus postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Spartakus is looking to work some ground and pound but Verde has wrist control. Spartakus trying to control but Verde is working from the bottom.
Verde looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Spartakus is defending well. Verde quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Spartakus has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Verde celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fighter closes the distance and clinches up with Lehnsherr, looking for a takedown. Fighter pushes Lehnsherr against the ropes but Lehnsherr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lehnsherr gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fighter trying to control but Lehnsherr is working from the bottom. Lehnsherr managing to control the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Lehnsherr really is a fat lump. Fighter is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lehnsherr has his hands clasped together but Fighter extends an breaks Lehnsherr's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Fighter.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tatov catches Drugonav with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Tatov connects with a nice looking jab.
Tatov rushes Drugonav and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Tatov stalling.
Tatov manages to break the clinch.
Drugonav needs to keep his hands up - Tatov had a free shot at his head there. This has been an exciting period of action! Tatov throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Drugonav stumbling backwards into the ropes! Drugonav bounces back off the ropes towards Tatov, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Tatov lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Tatov celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Junior shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Junior has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lachida is proving hard to escape from. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Junior accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Junior pushes down on Lachida's leg and manages to get into half guard. Junior seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lachida does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Junior is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lachida defends it well. Junior lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Lachida works his way to full guard. Good work.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lachida keeping moving, preventing Junior from controlling successfully. Junior won't allow Lachida to sweep him here. Lachida is striking but Junior is not phased and passes to half guard. Junior wants to pass to mount but Lachida is defending the position. Junior is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Junior is trying to control the action in half guard but Lachida is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Junior shoots for a double leg takedown but Lachida sprawls well. He's pushed Junior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Junior is breathing heavily. Junior fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Junior crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lachida - the referee stops the clock and Junior gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lachida. Junior manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Lachida throws a sloppy head kick and Junior moves out of range easily. Lachida tries a head kick but it misses.

and Junior decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lachida's guard. Lachida wants to stand up but Junior is controlling him. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lachida holds on and takes a little breather. Junior trying to control the position from guard on top but Lachida is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lachida is trying to keep Junior in close.

Junior drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lachida manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Junior has Lachida in his guard. Junior keeping moving, preventing Lachida from controlling successfully. Junior bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lachida's guard. Junior postures up and lands a big shot to Lachida's brow.
Junior is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Junior looking to sit in guard and control but Lachida gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Lachida lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Lachida bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Lachida paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Jab, jab by Lachida - just one landing. Gilmar Junior seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Lachida. A head kick misses from Lachida.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Junior circles away from the clinch attempt.
Junior clinches up against the ropes. Lachida tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Lachida is looking to break free of the clinch but Junior has double underhooks. Junior tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lachida smiles and moves away.
Lachida lands with a slapping head kick. Lachida throws a front kick that sends Junior stumbling back into the ropes. Lachida wants to clinch up but Junior keeps it at a distance.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lachida throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Junior shoots and misses and Lachida counters with a head kick. Lachida pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Junior takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Junior tries for a takedown but Lachida circles away easily and Lachida counters with a solid body kick. Lachida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lachida throws a right hand that Junior ducks under and follows up with a left that Junior also avoids with ease.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Junior gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Lachida counters with a body kick that stops Junior in his tracks momentarily. A head kick from Lachida lands but Junior takes it in his stride. Lachida throws a head kick that half lands.
Lachida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Junior misses with a takedown attempt and Lachida counters with a good low kick that Junior was not able to check.
Lachida forces Junior back against the ropes and clinches.
Junior gets control of Lachida's arms and successfully pulls guard. Junior will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Ryoto Lachida showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Junior will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Lachida throws a body kick that misses. Lachida thuds a left hand into Junior's body. Lachida lands a nice looking kick to the body. Junior takes a step back to recover. Lachida shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Lachida fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Junior tries for a takedown but Lachida circles away easily and Lachida finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Lachida throws a nice head kick!

Junior thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Junior trying to control but Lachida is working from the bottom. Junior wants to pass the guard but Lachida is keeping the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Junior is pushing down on Lachida's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lachida is fighting to maintain full guard but Junior has managed to sneak the leg through.
Junior is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ryoto Lachida. I think Lachida has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Mata comes to the ring accompanied by Sinner by Drowning Pool. Nicolosi has chosen Step Down as his entrance music. Envidia Mata had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Mauricio Nicolosi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Envidia Mata's chin.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicolosi swings for the body but Mata moves out of range.
Nicolosi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nicolosi showed some decent athleticism there. Nicolosi keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Mata moves into full guard.

Nicolosi decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mata, up you get! Mata shoots and misses
and Nicolosi counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mata! Mata is breathing heavily. Nicolosi controlling his opponent. Mata bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Mata postures up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Nicolosi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Nicolosi will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Nicolosi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mata doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mata manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Nicolosi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mata's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nicolosi trying to control the position from guard on top but Mata is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Mata manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nicolosi manages to get himself to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Nicolosi has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mata is working away from the top position though. Nicolosi moves into full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Mata trying to control the position from guard on top but Nicolosi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nicolosi trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Mata could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Nicolosi is looking to stand up but Mata isn't so interested in that idea. Nicolosi looking for a sweep. Not yet Nicolosi, not yet. Mata wants to stand but Nicolosi is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mata avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Nicolosi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Nicolosi had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mata is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nicolosi Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mata's back instead.
Mata defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Nicolosi's arms.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nicolosi throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Nicolosi keeps control of the position easily here as Mata tries to buck him off.

The referee is taking a good look at Mata as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Nicolosi!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Nicolosi has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Nicolosi is not going to allow Mata to sit and survive in this position.
