On his way into the cage it seems that Nico Ramirez has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nico Ramirez seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Wright gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wright clinches but Ramirez breaks the clinch and Ramirez counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wright thinking.
Ramirez moves into the clinch. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Wright looking to slow down the pace here.
Ramirez jumps guard and drags Wright to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Ramirez is trying to control the position but Wright postures up. Ramirez wants to sweep but no luck.

and Ramirez counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Ramirez lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Ramirez pulls guard. Wright wants to stand and escape but instead Ramirez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Ramirez shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ramirez showed some decent athleticism there. Wright is looking to escape. Wright avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ramirez. Ramirez missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Ramirez keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Ramirez tries to pass the half guard into mount. Wright knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ramirez not doing much here.

and Ramirez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wright's guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ramirez postures up in Wright's guard and throws a big left but Wright blocks it. Wright working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ramirez. Wright keeping moving, preventing Ramirez from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nico Ramirez dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Wright wants to clinch
and Ramirez counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wright keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Wright tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Ramirez manages to move to mount!
Ramirez working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Ramirez pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wright is breathing heavily. Wright wants to try and get back to his feet.

Wright tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ramirez wants to control the pace but Wright is squirming around nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramirez scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Wright?
Ramirez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Ramirez misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Honda throws a series of strikes that have Muchado backpedaling.
Honda throws a nice outside leg kick. Muchado throws a half hearted mid kick. Honda tries to clinch up. Muchado is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Honda.

Honda moves into the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Honda tries to land knees in the clinch but Muchado avoids the damage to the body. Honda softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Oh Muchado is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Muchado seems to have got his legs back now. A left hand lands to the body for Honda.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Honda lands with a right to the head. Honda stalls. Honda lands an uppercut.

Muchado has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Honda uses from the top position.

Honda really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muchado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Honda trying to control the position from guard on top but Muchado is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Honda might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Muchado kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Muchado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Honda's guard. Honda trying to control the position.
Muchado missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Honda can't keep his opponent in guard - Muchado advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Muchado thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Muchado moves into full mount! Honda won't be happy about that! Honda is trying to escape the mount.

Honda trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Honda is in bad spot here.
Muchado has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Muchado is breathing heavily. Honda breaks Muchado's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Muchado looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Muchado has a closed guard, preventing Honda from standing up. Honda seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Muchado tries to land a sweep but no joy. Honda tries to free his leg and advance position but Muchado is retaining full guard. Muchado bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Honda's guard.
Muchado thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Honda looking for a sweep. Not yet Honda, not yet. Honda is trying to control the position but Muchado postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Honda tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Muchado drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Muchado jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Honda controlling the position. Honda tries to land a sweep but no joy. Honda looking to control.

Honda throws a head kick that misses. Honda throws a leg kick but Muchado sees it coming and moves out of range. Piston Honda is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Honda is looking to clinch but Muchado is avoiding it.
Honda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Muchado. That did some damage! A good leg kick by Honda. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Honda connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Muchado blocks a head kick by Honda.
A head kick by Muchado misses and Honda counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piston Honda dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Honda turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Muchado bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ramos Muchado is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Honda throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Muchado takes a kick to the side of the head. Good leg kick by Honda there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Muchado misses with a body kick. A head kick by Honda misses and Muchado counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The fight stays on the outside here - Honda looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Honda fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Honda darts in and clinches Muchado up against the cage. Honda lands a body punch in the clinch. Honda throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Honda digs a right hand underneath Muchado's ribcage. Muchado let out a lung full of air as it connected.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Honda lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Muchado or not. Muchado wants to break the clinch but can't.

Honda lands a right hand. Honda scores with a hook to the body. Honda lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. A knee to the head by Honda.

Honda really felt that one! Honda lands a front kick. Piston Honda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Budden thuds a left hand into Slanski's body. Nice jab there from Budden. Slanski misses with a takedown attempt - Budden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Slanski blocks a head kick by Budden.
Slanski needs to keep his hands up - Budden had a free shot at his head there. A head kick misses from Budden. Budden swinging wilding here.
Slanski walks into a stiff left hand from Budden. A jab from Budden finds it's way through Slanski's defenses. Budden scores with a jab to the head.
Slanski takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Slanski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Budden throws a combination. Slanski tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Budden tries a head kick but it misses.
Budden cracks Slanski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Budden lands with a nice combination. Slanski backs away looking to recover. Budden tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slanski was well out of range. Poor timing from Budden. Slanski misses with a combination
and Budden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A big left from Budden misses. Budden is working the combinations to good effect here. A punch combination from Budden misses. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Budden, as that shot connected.
Budden moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Budden digs a good body shot into Slanski's ribs. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Slanski. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Slanski avoids the head kick by Budden.

Hope shoots for a takedown but Clanger saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hope shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clanger as he avoids it easily. Yonsil Clanger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vernon Hope. Hope throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clanger's waist but Clanger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hope off to one side. Hope looks for a takedown but Clanger sprawls well. Clanger is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Maine shoots and misses and Maia counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Maine tries to move into range but Maia moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Maine on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Maine feints and as Maia raises his hands in defense, Maine changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Maine trying to control the position from guard on top but Maia is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Maine content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Maia has locked up a guillotine! Maia's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Maine is holding on here and Maia must be using up a lot of energy. Maine has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Maia gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Pato has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Frank Breech dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Pato shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Breech bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pato's guard. Pato has control of Breech's left arm, preventing Breech from doing any damage. Pato manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
