Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Pinsent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amauri Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinsent kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Pot - Tool. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fernandes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fernandes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pinsent is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Pinsent gets back to half guard. Fernandes is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Pinsent jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Fernandes is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Fernandes and Pinsent has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Fernandes manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Pinsent moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pinsent escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fernandes gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fernandes works a leg free and moves into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jesse Pinsent will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Fernandes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fernandes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pinsent controls Fernandes momentarily but Fernandes frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pinsent looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fernandes has picked Pinsent up and slammed him! Pinsent can't keep hold of the triangle and Fernandes manages to pass to side control! Pinsent struggling a bit here. Pinsent is looking for a sweep. You can see the frustration on Pinsent's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Fernandes creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pinsent is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fernandes off and has taken his back!

Fernandes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fernandes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Pinsent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fernandes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Pinsent is tightening it up a little... Fernandes has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Fernandes reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Fernandes taps out! nice BJJ there by Pinsent!

And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Campos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Campos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A nice combination there by Leal.
Paul Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harris shoots in for a takedown but Leal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Leal lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Harris backs up against the cage.

Harris breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
