The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grady throws a nice inside leg kick. Sutherland looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Grady closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sutherland to the mat! Sutherland manages to get full guard. Grady controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Grady trying to control the position from guard on top but Sutherland is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sutherland is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Grady scoring with some ground and pound. Grady trying to control the position from guard on top but Sutherland is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Grady passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Grady is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Grady tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrews swings for the body but Buddy moves out of range.
Andrews tries to bum rush Buddy with a series of wild strikes but Buddy uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Buddy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Buddy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Buddy won't allow Andrews to sweep him here. Buddy makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Buddy controls from within his opponent's guard. Buddy lands a couple of decent looking shots. Andrews is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Buddy is controlling him. Buddy landing with the ground and pound. Buddy won't allow Andrews to get back to his feet. Andrews wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Buddy manages to pass to side control. Buddy working over Andrews with some ground and pound. Andrews looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Buddy drops an elbow to the side of Andrews's head. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Andrews is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrews wants to get back to full guard but Buddy has mounted him! Andrews's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Buddy landing strikes from the mount. Buddy loads up with a big shot that hurts Andrews! He's pulled Buddy in close but Buddy has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Andrews survive? More strikes from Buddy and Andrews is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Wrestle trying to control from half guard but Burns is working away. The fighters are battling for position here. Burns manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wrestle throws a big right hand that misses. Burns is trying to control the position but Wrestle postures up. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wrestle accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Wrestle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Burns is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Wrestle in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Burns misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Burns utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wrestle is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Burns wants to control but Wrestle is keeping busy.
Burns is not content to let Wrestle control the position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Wrestle lands a nice short elbow.

Wrestle throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Trainer Wrestle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wrestle takes the fight into the clinch. Burns with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. A head punch on the inside from Wrestle fails to land. Burns tries to land a knee to the head but Wrestle blocks with his arms.

Wrestle is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Burns gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Burns misses with a knee to the head. Burns gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wrestle.
Burns is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wrestle is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Burns to the mat. Burns regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Wrestle stays in close to Burns's body and controls the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wrestle working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Burns's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Trainer Wrestle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wrestle winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Gibson shoots and misses and Winnfield counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gibson's guard now. Winnfield trying to control the position from guard on top but Gibson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gibson working for a triangle but Winnfield defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gibson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Winnfield pulls his head out easily. Gibson tries to roll over but Winnfield keeps him under control. Gibson looking for submissions off his back. Winnfield blocks the strikes from Gibson.
Winnfield wants to take a breather but Gibson is having none of it. Winnfield is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gibson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Winnfield tries to bench press Gibson off him but Gibson keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winnfield looks gassed! Gibson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Winnfield knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. You can see the frustration on Winnfield's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gibson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Winnfield is looking to reverse the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Gibson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malenko instigates a clinch. Malenko throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Reardon blocks it with crossed arms. Reardon is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Malenko gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Malenko is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. Malenko crunches a lovely knee into Reardon's ribcage. With the fighters up against the ropes, Reardon throws an elbow but misses. Reardon avoiding damage as Malenko throws knees to the body.
Malenko is working for takedown but Reardon is calmly controlling the position for now. Reardon goes for a takedown attempt but Malenko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Reardon throws out a loose jab but Malenko uses good head movement to avoid it. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Malenko!
