Gruffo avoids the body shot from Blazsanyik.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocket turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rocket throws a sloppy head kick and Goose moves out of range easily.
Rocket misses with a low kick as Goose jumps back.

Goose throws a lazy head kick

and Rocket counters by clinching up.
Rocket drops down looking for an ankle pick but Goose pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Rocket makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Goose really felt that one!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rocket shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Goose's guard.
Rocket slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rocket will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
