The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheider scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sheider stuffs the takedown attempt from McMally. McMally gets slowly back to his feet.

McMally shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
McMally avoids the attempt from Sheider to control.
McMally can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sheider is looking to escape.
Sheider working to try and regain half guard.

McMally looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McMally controlling his opponent.
Sheider is looking to improve his position but McMally isn't that keen on the idea.

Well Sheider has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Filipovic flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Urkel anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Filipovic and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Urkel slips an arm under Filipovic chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Urkel has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Urkel is squeezing on Filipovic like an anaconda would it's prey. Filipovic fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
