Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juvintude DeNomee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Drako! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drako tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but DeNomee swivels and escapes. DeNomee could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. DeNomee scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Jerry Drako has been cut. DeNomee throws a right hand that Drako ducks under and follows up with a left that Drako also avoids with ease. DeNomee fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nice sprawl there from DeNomee as Drako shoots in. DeNomee keeps the fight on the outside. No joy there for DeNomee, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Drako darts in and clinches DeNomee up against the cage. Drako wants to get back to striking at distance but DeNomee won't allow it.
DeNomee pushes off an throws an elbow but Drako leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. DeNomee creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Drako's defenses. Both guys are working to get underhooks. DeNomee tries a knee to the head but Drako blocks it.
Drako pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Drako moves into range and clinches up with DeNomee. Drako's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. DeNomee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from DeNomee does no damage. Juvintude DeNomee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DeNomee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Drako circles away quickly and effectively. Drako bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Drako tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Drako working the strikes but DeNomee uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drako takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. DeNomee trying to control here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. DeNomee is staying active underneath Drako, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Drako trying to control from DeNomee's half guard. DeNomee has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Drako trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Drako wants to get back to his feet but DeNomee is in a dominant position and won't allow it. DeNomee preventing the sweep. Drako wants to stand but DeNomee is controlling the position. DeNomee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. DeNomee is standing up over Drako. Drako looks to escape but DeNomee dives into side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ren pushes ken up against the cage in a clinch. Ren's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Ren lands a nice shot to the body. ken is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ren pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ren is pressed up against the cage. ken has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ren down to the mat. Ren avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Ren lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as ken backs up against the cage.

Laveaux throws a right and a left that both miss. Fist takes a shot right to the bread basket. Laveaux with a lazy takedown attempt and Fist counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Laveaux is trying to stand.
