The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomison lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Thomison sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Thomison wants to slow Aitken down by chopping away at his legs.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carr Ramrod.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Papa Foo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Foo's waist but Foo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boy off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The referee warns Boy that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Foo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Boy is surviving well by controlling Foo's body position as best he can.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Foo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Boy is looking to improve his position but Foo isn't that keen on the idea.
Boy wants to control but Foo is having none of it.
Foo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Boy is wriggling around trying to escape.

Foo is working for a guillotine from mount but Boy frees his head quite easily.
Boy takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Foo's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Parise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaiser Soze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters had to take extra time to make weight as they missed the initial 155lb limit. Jordan Parise came in at 156.4 and Kaiser Soze came in at 156.1 but after the extra two hours, both guys managed to get within the one pound allowance. No doubt it will have affected them physically though, so let's see if that has an impact on the fight. Jordan Parise could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kaiser Soze's chin.

Parise seems to have locked his on tight now - Soze screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Parise, as he picks up the win!
