The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by St James.
St James misses with a hook. Araujo ducked under it nicely.
St James looks to throw the jab but Araujo is out of range.
St James lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by St James.
St James bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Araujo's head.

Araujo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mark St James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lessa shoots in looking for a takedown. Vader tries to sprawl out of it but Lessa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vader manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lessa shoots for a takedown but Vader saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vader throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Horrible takedown by Lessa or perhaps it was just good defense by Vader which made him look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vader trying to control the position from guard on top but Lessa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lessa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vader controls the pace.

Well Vader has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
