The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Thompson as he avoids it easily.
Thompson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gracie decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie wants to take a breather but Thompson is having none of it.

Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batista scores with a hook to the body. Uba takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Batista scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Batista throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Uba stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Batista misses with a two punch combination.
Batista lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Uba backs up against the cage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Batista. That's going to slow Uba down.
Uba fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Batista avoids it really well and circles away.

Uba has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Uba there as he acknowledges the shot.

Vator doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Vator looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
