Sanchez switches off momentarily and Gunderson cracks him with a monster right hand! Sanchez topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Gunderson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Gunderson!

Horrible takedown by Mimms or perhaps it was just good defense by Comun which made him look bad.

Mimms changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Comun looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Comun manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Mimms throwing shots but Comun is blocking nicely.
Comun is trying to control but can't.
Mimms throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Mimms with the ground and pound but Comun uses the opportunity to regain guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mimms throws a big right hand that misses.
Comun looking for a sweep. Not yet Comun, not yet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Comun lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Comun wants to clinch but Mimms slips to the side

and Mimms counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mimms.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mimms is fighting to break Comun's control of his arms but Comun is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Comun wants to clinch

so Mimms counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mimms throws a strike but Comun rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Comun avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mimms looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Comun puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Mimms flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Mimms takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Comun tries to stand but can't do so whilst Mimms controls his leg.

Mimms slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Comun's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Mimms will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Mimms has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Comun has passed into side control.
Mimms is not content to let Comun control the position.
Mimms misses with a strike from the bottom.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Comun decides to stand up, so the ref orders Mimms to his feet.
Comun throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Mimms counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Mimms drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Comun dives on top into guard.
Mimms doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Comun stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mimms swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Comun stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Comun tries to clinch

and Mimms counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Comun missing with knees to the body.
Mimms wants a takedown but no success here.

Comun prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mimms blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Mimms has Comun pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mimms pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Comun tumbling to the mat - Mimms dives into Comun's guard.

Comun preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Mimms with a flurry of punches that miss.
Comun utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Comun avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Mimms throws and elbow that misses. Comun uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mimms's guard. Nice move by Comun!
Mimms throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Mimms working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Comun has passed into half guard!

Mimms is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Comun pulls his head out easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
