Assassin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Assassin is nestled in close to hella , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Assassin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Assassin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Assassin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. hella is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Assassin scores with a couple of nice shots. hella is not content to let Assassin control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Assassin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for hella ! hella is bucking up trying to escape but Assassin cracks him with another couple of good strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hawaiian Assassin dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Cyborg is staying active underneath Gardan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gardan passes to side control. Gardan cracks Cyborg with a big elbow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cyborg takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Rush St Pierre showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rush St Pierre's cut. That's time! Ono's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
St Pierre fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ono fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt St Pierre. St Pierre keeps the fight on the outside. Ono moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ono tries to clinch up. St Pierre chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ono can pounce on him.

Higashi is pressed up against the cage. Si Zhiro has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Higashi down to the mat. Higashi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Si Zhiro avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Higashi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Si Zhiro, pushing him back against the cage. Higashi throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Si Zhiro dodges an elbow strike from Higashi.
Si Zhiro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Higashi walks away with a smile on his face. Si Zhiro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Higashi stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raig Si Zhiro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Si Zhiro knocks Higashi to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

Andrade rushes Kurokami and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kurokami goes for a takedown in the clinch but Andrade prevents it.
Andrade pulls guard successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kurokami is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Andrade keeping moving, preventing Kurokami from controlling successfully. Kurokami must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Andrade is trying to control the position but Kurokami postures up.

Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Andrade. Andrade trying to control but Kurokami is working from the bottom.

Andrade is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Andrade is looking to regain half guard here but Kurokami keeps moving and retains side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kurokami decides to stand back up. Kurokami steps back and let's Andrade get back to his feet.

It's preventing any offense from Kurokami, at least for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shinji Kurokami showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Andrade has hold of one of Kurokami's legs. Kurokami is fighting the takedown attempt but Andrade gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Andrade loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Gagarin scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Gagarin is working the combinations to good effect here. Hoodwell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gagarin but Gagarin pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for KJ Hoodwell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gagarin punishes Hoodwell's body with a nice straight punch. Horrible takedown by Hoodwell or perhaps it was just good defense by Gagarin which made him look bad. Gagarin catches Hoodwell with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Hoodwell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gagarin as he jumps to the side. Nice uppercut lands for Gagarin. That snapped Hoodwell's head back.
Gagarin's corner calls for a 1-2. Gagarin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Yuri Gagarin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hoodwell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gagarin manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hoodwell has Gagarin in his guard.
Hoodwell pushes a forearm under Gagarin's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gagarin is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

That was a close round but I would say that Dixon Cox will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
