Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordan Leone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keisuke Atoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Keisuke Atoshi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keisuke Atoshi! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Atoshi pinned against the cage. Atoshi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Atoshi looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Leone shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Leone drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Leone wants to stand but Atoshi has his arm trapped. Atoshi struggling a bit here. Leone has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Leone looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Leone gets to his feet - Atoshi follows without any prompting. Leone shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Leone showed some decent athleticism there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Leone wants to stand but Atoshi has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Atoshi looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Leone is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Leone stands up and beckons Atoshi to join him on the feet. Leone scores with a takedown into Atoshi's guard. Leone wanted to stand there but Atoshi had control of the position. Leone trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Leone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Atoshi on the ground. Atoshi thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Leone wants to stand but Atoshi is controlling his posture from full guard. Leone really is a fat lump.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Leone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gordan Leone. Nope, Atoshi circles away and we're back to standing. Leone has a takedown stuffed. Leone misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Leone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Atoshi counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Atoshi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Atoshi stops Leone from getting back to his feet.

Leone shoots in for a takedown but Atoshi shows good takedown defense. Leone gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Atoshi counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. That's going to take a lot out of him. Leone misses with a takedown attempt - Atoshi sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Leone has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Leone misses with a takedown attempt and Atoshi counters with a series of strikes. Leone will be more careful next time no doubt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Atoshi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Leone with a lazy takedown attempt and Atoshi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Keisuke Atoshi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Leone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Atoshi to the mat! Atoshi manages to get full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Atoshi has a closed guard, preventing Leone from standing up.

Leone doesn't succeed with the takedown and Atoshi counters with a series of strikes. Leone will be more careful next time no doubt. Leone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Gordan Leone overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Atoshi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Leone stops Atoshi from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Atoshi stalks Leone and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Leone's face. Leone staggers backwards, shaken. Leone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atoshi tries to avoid it but Leone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atoshi to the ground. Atoshi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Leone looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Atoshi is fending him off so far but Leone persists. Nope, Atoshi circles away and we're back to standing. Leone shoots in for a takedown but Atoshi shows good takedown defense. And that's the end of the fight! Gordan Leone showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Leone, winning every round. Will the judges agree? I think Coffee might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Fidelity by Regina Spektor. Shozo has chosen Five Ninety as his entrance music. Matsu Shozo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Donald Coffee's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coffee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Shozo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Coffee feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Shozo sprawling to the canvas! Shozo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Coffee finish him?!
It looks like Matsu Shozo has been cut. Coffee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Shozo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coffee but Coffee pushes him off and we're back to square one. Shozo seems to have recovered his senses. Shozo looks for a takedown but Coffee sprawls well. Coffee will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Coffee throws a jab when Shozo was well out of range. Coffee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Coffee knocks Shozo to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!? Coffee working away. Coffee stands up and we're back to a striking position. Coffee throws a right hand that Shozo ducks under and follows up with a left that Shozo also avoids with ease. A clash of legs there as Shozo blocks the low kick. Coffee misses with the combination.

Shozo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Coffee connects with a superb combination that knocks Shozo out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Coffee before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Shozo!

Brown lands with a kick to the temple. Buxley shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Buxley looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range. Buxley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it. Brown tries a head kick but it misses.
Buxley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Brown stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Buxley looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range. Brown bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Buxley's head.
Buxley is rocked! Buxley swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Oh Buxley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice straight punches there by Brown. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brown. Brown throws a monster overhand right that drops Buxley! Brown follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Burnett won't enjoy being in this position. Brown looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Burnett is tapping - it's over boys! Brown picks up the submission victory!
