Souza tries to clinch but Abreu moves out of range.
Souza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Abreu circles away.
Souza gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Abreu slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Souza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Abreu as he avoids it easily.
Souza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abreu tries to avoid it but Souza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abreu to the ground. Abreu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gilberto Souza. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Abreu rushes Souza with punches - Souza moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Souza goes down! Abreu follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Silva fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fingers sprawls well initially but Silva persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
