Lopez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fight for this love. Nathan Clovey will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Clovey! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clovey tries to clinch there but Lopez circles away.
No luck for Clovey with that takedown attempt. Clovey throws a sloppy head kick and Lopez moves out of range easily. Lopez looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Lopez slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Clovey. Clovey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Clovey wants to get back to his feet. Lopez is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Lopez moves into full mount! Clovey won't be happy about that! Lopez looking to finish Clovey with some ground and pound. This is bad for Clovey! Lopez lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Clovey hang on?
That's one minute gone in the round. Lopez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Lopez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Clovey's face.

Velasquez is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Velasquez decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lee, up you get! A head kick by Velasquez misses and Lee moves into the clinch. Velasquez can't break the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee lands a knee to the head.

Velasquez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Velasquez postures up and lands a big shot to Lee's brow. Velasquez landing with the ground and pound. Velasquez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Velasquez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Lee. Lee moves in looking to clinch but Velasquez pushes him off. Velasquez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Velasquez off to one side. Velasquez misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lee has managed to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Luka Lee. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
