whittiker shoots in looking for a takedown. Chelios tries to sprawl out of it but whittiker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chelios manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Jordan whittiker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

whittiker is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chelios has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chelios's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

whittiker is working for a rear naked choke. Chelios is not defending it well and whittiker has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Chelios refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Chelios's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Slaughter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Slaughter lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Sinjo or not.

Slaughter works on Sinjo's body with a couple of short punches.
Slaughter creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Sinjo's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Sinjo drops to his knees and Slaughter pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
