You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. styles wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Cabrera is now in half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Cabrera seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but styles does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cabrera with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. styles trying to hold on to Cabrera's head to control him but Cabrera postures up.

Cabrera is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. styles tries to roll over but Cabrera keeps him under control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benjamin throws a right hand that DoUrden ducks under and follows up with a left that DoUrden also avoids with ease. Benjamin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Benjamin wants to clinch. Benjamin fails with a takedown attempt. DoUrden has a takedown stuffed. DoUrden takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Zaknafein DoUrden has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. DoUrden connects with a body shot. DoUrden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Benjamin sprawls well. Benjamin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. DoUrden gets slowly back to his feet. DoUrden shoots and misses and Benjamin finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zaknafein DoUrden. Rush tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Cheadle paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cheadle is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cheadle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rush swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rush jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Don Cheadle has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rush throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Cheadle stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Rush follows into mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cheadle really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Cheadle tries to hold on but Rush postures up. Rush prevents Cheadle from getting the reversal. Rush lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
