The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mercury Prateado takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mercury Prateado wants to clinch. Yoshida stuns Mercury Prateado with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. A head kick misses from Yoshida. Yoshida circles away from the clinch attempt.

Mercury Prateado really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yoshida. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mercury Prateado taking punishment in the form of punches.

Lemos is lucky that one didn't land flush. Wall tries a head kick but it misses.

Wall leaves Lemos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lucas Lemos. A head kick by Wall misses and Lemos counters with a series of strikes. Wall will be more careful next time no doubt. Wall is looking to slow Lemos down with leg kicks. John Wall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Lemos throws a sloppy head kick and Wall makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Need breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Dos Santos feints and as Teemu raises his hands in defense, Dos Santos changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Teemu has his hands on Dos Santos's head, controlling the position. Dos Santos wants to pass the guard but Teemu is keeping the position. Teemu is looking for a triangle but Dos Santos pushes his legs off easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crunch! Gresham slams his shin into Day's torso. Day looks to throw a body kick and Gresham counters with a nice leg kick. Gresham throws a head kick but Day moves out of range.
Day fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gresham manages to avoid it. A head kick by Day misses and Gresham counters with a body kick that stops Day in his tracks momentarily. Day throws a body punch but Gresham moves out of range. Gresham throws a head kick that misses. Gresham tries a head kick but it misses.
Gresham tries to close the distance and clinch but Day swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gresham tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Day was well out of range. Poor timing from Gresham. Gresham pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Gresham checks a leg kick nicely. A head kick misses from Gresham. Day fails in his attempt to clinch. Gresham throws the kick towards the body but Day avoids it. Steele keeping moving, preventing Yankee from controlling successfully. Steele has his foot on Yankee's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yankee works his way back into a safe position though. Yankee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Steele looking for a guillotine here but Yankee defends easily.

Steele has managed to slip his arm under Yankee's chin. This could be all over... yep, Yankee is tapping out! Submission win for Steele.
