2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Soszynski! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones is looking to clinch. Jones could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Soszynski misses with a two punch combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Soszynski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart throws a wild body kick that Bowhime sees coming a mile off. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Stewart rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bowhime moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bowhime wants to clinch. Stewart lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bowhime circles away quickly and effectively. Tony Stewart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bowhime throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Woodring throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lytle. Lytle shoots in for a double leg but Woodring sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Woodring misses with a looping right. Woodring scores with a leg kick.
Lytle shoots for a double leg takedown but Woodring sprawls well. He's pushed Lytle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Woodring throws a series of punches but Lytle moves out of range. Woodring throws a nice inside leg kick. Woodring does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. That's one minute gone in the round. Woodring stuns Lytle with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Owen Woodring is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Woodring connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Lytle fails with a takedown attempt. Jab, jab by Woodring - just one landing. Lytle shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Woodring's guard. Lytle looks gassed! Woodring wants to sweep here but Lytle controlling him for the moment. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Woodring throws a hook to the side of Lytle's head but Lytle sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woodring throws a nice looking combination but Lytle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Woodring misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Woodring swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lytle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Woodring tries to avoid it but Lytle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Woodring to the ground. Woodring escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Woodring fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lytle on the side of the head. Woodring throws a head kick that misses. Woodring looks to land a left hand but Lytle moved out of range nicely. Woodring misses with a looping right. Nice takedown defense from Woodring. No joy for Lytle on that attempt. Lytle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Woodring gets caught flat footed, as Lytle shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lytle working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lytle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lytle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Woodring works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lytle won't allow Woodring to get back to his feet. Woodring looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lytle is one step ahead there. Lytle looking to pass the guard. Lytle won't allow Woodring to sweep him here. Lytle trying to control but Woodring is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Lytle uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Woodring. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lytle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Woodring avoids it really well and circles away. Woodring throws a right and a left that both miss. Lytle drives through with a takedown into guard. Lytle looking to pass the guard. Lytle drops back looking for a leg! Woodring is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Woodring manages to kick Lytle off! Lytle jumps back into Woodring's guard. Woodring wants to sweep here but Lytle controlling him for the moment. Lytle is breathing heavily. Lytle is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Woodring is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Woodring has escaped and now he's on top! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Woodring tries to free his leg and advance position but Lytle is retaining full guard. Lytle had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Woodring is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lytle Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Woodring's back instead. Woodring is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Woodring has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Woodring fending off the submission attempt from Lytle. Woodring is trying to get back to his feet but Lytle has full control of the position and if anything, Woodring has just worked his way into a worse spot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lytle has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Woodring is in real trouble here. Lytle gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Woodring is tapping out! Lytle wins by rear naked choke!

Stone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Crackson throws out the jab. Stone throws a head kick but Crackson moves out of range.
Crackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stone swivels and escapes. Stone throws a looping overhand right but Crackson ducks down to avoid it. Nice cross by Stone. Crackson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Stone sees it coming and avoids it easily. Stone fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Crackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stone paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stone misses with a hook. Crackson ducked under it nicely. Crackson showed some decent athleticism there. Crackson wants to control but Stone is keeping him busy.

Crackson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Crackson is trying to control the action in half guard but Stone is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stone kicks Crackson off and gets back to his feet. Stone moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Sly Stone has been cut. Stone drops his hands momentarily and Crackson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Stone lands a nice shot that snaps Crackson's head back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Crackson. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stone swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Crackson counters with a big uppercut that knocks Stone off his feet! Crackson dives into side control looking to finish!
Stone is rocked! Crackson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Stone is still in real trouble! Can Crackson finish him? Crackson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Stone some visible discomfort.
Crackson scores with a couple of short elbows. Stone seems to have recovered his senses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crackson cracks Stone with a big elbow. Crackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Crackson throws an elbow but Stone slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crackson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Crackson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Stone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stone is not content to let Crackson control the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. An elbow from Crackson crashes against the mat.

That has opened up Sly Stone's cut even more. Crackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crackson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stone looks calm but he's in trouble here. Crackson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stone is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Crackson lets go of the hold and Stone can pop his arm back in it's socket.
