The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Onakea scores with a hook to the body. Yourcrackin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Onakea will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Yourcrackin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Onakea as he jumps to the side. Yourcrackin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Onakea sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yourcrackin somewhat. Onakea tries to clinch there but Yourcrackin circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Onakea ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Onakea scores with a hook to the body. Yourcrackin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Cooper lunges at Hoopii with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hoopii's hand. Kaniala Hoopii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoopii wants to clinch up but Cooper keeps it at a distance. Cooper with a nice cross. Hoopii tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cooper paws at him with a jab and circles away. Hoopii shoots for a double leg takedown but Cooper sprawls well. He's pushed Hoopii's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hoopii tries to clinch but Cooper moves out of range. Bob defending well as Holt loads up on a big left hand. Bob tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Holt paws at him with a jab and circles away. Holt stuffs the takedown attempt from Bob. Bob gets slowly back to his feet. Holt looks to throw the jab but Bob is out of range. Holt connects with the punch.
It looks like Zaney Bob has been cut. Holt keeps the fight on the outside. Good shot there by Holt. Holt jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bob moves out of range of the strikes. Bob looks for a takedown but Holt sprawls well. Bob closes the distance and pushes Holt back into the cage. Bob tries to work over Holt's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Holt lands a right hand. Holt working Bob over with knees to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Holt scores with an uppercut up the middle. Holt lands with a left to the head. A short uppercut from Holt. Holt lands a left hand.
Bob has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Steve Holt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zaney Bob. Bob looks gassed! Holt lands a hook to the side of the head.

Mike Quiz has got the better of the ground game so far. Quiz gets his hands free as Sanders looks to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sanders is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Sanders keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Sanders misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Quiz shoots in and drives through. Sanders sprawls well. Sanders moves in looking to clinch but Quiz pushes him off. Sanders throws a head kick that Quiz semi-blocks.
Sanders swats away the attempt to clinch by Quiz. Quiz shoots in for a takedown but Sanders shows good takedown defense. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sanders gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Quiz.
A short body shot lands from Sanders as the two fighters clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Sanders.
Sanders breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
