 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Flores with that takedown attempt. Melikhov tries to clinch up but Flores circles away and keeps his distance. Melikhov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Melikhov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Melikhov throws the left hand but Flores avoids the punch easily. Flores shoots in for a takedown but Melikhov shows good takedown defense. Melikhov tries to clinch up but Flores circles away and keeps his distance. Melikhov lands with a big right hook that stumbles Flores - he's out on his feet here! Melikhov follows up with another monster hook that separates Flores from consciousness! Flores falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Melikhov stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vitalis throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Vitalis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vitalis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Petes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vitalis tries to clinch up. Vitalis tries to close the distance and clinch but Petes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vitalis fails with an attempt to clinch.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Petes has eaten all the pies! Vitalis throws a jab when Petes was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Petes scores with a spinning back kick! Vitalis fails in his attempt to clinch. Vitalis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Vitalis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Vitalis misses with a series of wild punches.
Vitalis shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Vitalis misses with the combination.
Petes checks the leg kick. Vitalis throws a series of punches but Petes avoids them all with ease. Vitalis moves out of range of the leg kick from Petes. Vitalis avoids a kick to the body.
Vitalis clobbers Petes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Vitalis shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Petes misses with a double jab
and Vitalis counters with a straight right hand. Vitalis misses with a combination
and Petes counters with a low kick, right behind Vitalis 's knee. Vitalis stalks Petes and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Petes's face. Petes staggers backwards, shaken. Vitalis displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Vitalis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A head kick by Vitalis misses and Petes counters with a good low kick that Vitalis was not able to check. Petes circles away from the clinch attempt
and Petes counters with a takedown into side control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Vitalis is letting Petes control him for a moment. Vitalis is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Vitalis is trying to get back to half guard. Vitalis is working hard here to advance position. Petes slows the pace down.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Vitalis is pushing Petes's head away, looking to escape. Petes manages to hold on to the position though. Vitalis wants to get back to his feet but Petes is dominant here and he's now got Vitalis's back! Vitalis wants to escape the position.

Alexander Vitalis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vitalis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Petes. Alexander Vitalis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A low kick from Vitalis is predictable there
and Petes counters by clinching up. Vitalis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Vitalis wants to break free but Petes has control.
A frustrated look appears on Vitalis's face as he tries to break the clinch. Vitalis wants to get back to striking at distance but Petes won't allow it.
Petes has Vitalis pressed against the cage, preventing Vitalis from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Petes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Petes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vitalis moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Vitalis thows a leg kick but Petes checks it
and Petes counters with a shoot takedown. Vitalis fights it but they end up in guard. Vitalis keeping moving, preventing Petes from controlling successfully. Vitalis wants to stand but Petes is controlling the position. Petes controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Vitalis is pulling down on Petes's head. It's preventing any offense from Petes, at least for the moment. Petes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Vitalis is looking to stand up but Petes isn't so interested in that idea.

Vitalis sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Vitalis tries to kick Petes off in order to stand up. Petes Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Petes prevents Vitalis from escaping the position. Vitalis struggling a bit here. Vitalis tries to bench press Petes off him but Petes keeps the position. Vitalis wants to get back to his feet but Petes is dominant here and he's now got Vitalis's back! Vitalis holding both Petes 's hands and preventing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Good control from Petes.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Vitalis controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. Petes is hanging on to Vitalis's back as he tries to escape.
Vitalis has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Petes keeps control of the position easily here as Vitalis tries to buck him off.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Vitalis looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Vitalis is keeping busy.
Vitalis is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Travis Petes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Petes slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Vitalis trying to get back to his feet but Petes is in full control for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Petes is not going to allow Vitalis to sit and survive in this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Travis Petes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Petes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crinichi shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Von Baron defends it nicely. Crinichi looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Crinichi takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Von Baron throws a head kick that misses. A swing and a miss from Von Baron. Von Baron tries a head kick but it misses.
Crinichi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Von Baron finds it's way round the side to connect with Crinichi's head.
 It looks like Meriu Crinichi has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Von Baron throws a body kick that misses. Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Von Baron! This one is all over!
