Kendall throws a right and a left that La Fleur avoids nicely.
Kurt Kendall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kendall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
La Fleur misses with a takedown attempt - Kendall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
La Fleur fails to land the takedown.
La Fleur tries to close the distance and clinch but Kendall swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

La Fleur throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kendall stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

La Fleur moves forwards but Kendall connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kendall connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent La Fleur tumbling to the canvas! Kendall pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! La Fleur was done - good stoppage!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Slaughter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waldo Boss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Slaughter had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Waldo Boss is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Slaughter accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Slaughter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slaughter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Slaughter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boss has an Americana. Slaughter didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Boss is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Boss hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
