Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Tartaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz has chosen Mosh By Eminem as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tito Ortiz! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ortiz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tartaro gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ortiz to score an easy takedown into full guard. Ortiz postures up in Tartaro's guard and throws a big left but Tartaro blocks it. Tartaro tries to strike from the bottom.
Ortiz looking to sit in guard and control but Tartaro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Ortiz trying to keep a closed guard but Tartaro is proving a slippery customer.
Tartaro wanted to stand there but Ortiz had control of the position. Tartaro won't allow Ortiz to sweep him here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ortiz can do anything to dispel that myth. Ortiz is looking for a triangle but Tartaro pushes his legs off easily.

Tartaro stands up and beckons Ortiz to join him on the feet. Tartaro shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ortiz napping and manages to drive through into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tartaro decides to stand back up. Tartaro steps back and let's Ortiz get back to his feet. Ortiz closes the distance and clinches up with Tartaro, looking for a takedown. Ortiz pushes Tartaro against the ropes but Tartaro circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tartaro misses with the combination.

Horrible takedown by Ortiz or perhaps it was just good defense by Tartaro which made him look bad. Ortiz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tartaro is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A frustrated look appears on Tartaro's face as he tries to break the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Tartaro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ortiz stuffs the takedown attempt from Tartaro. Tartaro gets slowly back to his feet. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown throws a series of punches but Notus avoids them all with ease. Brown dives in and grabs Notus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Notus pushes down on Brown's head and hops out. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Brown has eaten all the pies! No joy there for Notus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brown changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Notus tries to avoid it but Brown manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Notus to the ground. Notus escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Brown tries to clinch but Notus moves out of range. Notus throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it. Notus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brown checks the leg kick. Notus dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Brown tries for a takedown but Notus sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Atkinson needs to remain patient if he's going to get out of this sticky situation. Atkinson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Atkinson wants to hold on but Badu pushes him away.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Atkinson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Badu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Atkinson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
And that's the end of the fight! Panze Badu showed his dominance in that final round. Well Atkinson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myer throws a head kick but Mustang moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Myer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mustang swivels though and keeps the full guard. Myer trying to control the position from guard on top but Mustang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Myer shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mustang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Myer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mustang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Myer throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mustang wants to stand and escape but Myer is having none of it. Myer trying to control the position from guard on top but Mustang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oscer Myer has got the better of the ground game so far. Myer is looking to advance position but Mustang has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Myer is looking to improve his position but Mustang isn't that keen on the idea. Mustang stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Mustang throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Good agility. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Myer postures up in Mustang's guard and throws a big left but Mustang blocks it. Todd Mustang is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mustang is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Myer wants to control from the top but Mustang keeps moving.

Bradley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Bradley preventing the sweep. Bradley trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bradley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horz throws a sloppy head kick and Taps moves out of range easily. Taps closes this distance looking for a takedown but Horz circles away. Taps looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Taps shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Horz's guard. Horz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Taps can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Horz is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Horz wants to pass to mount but Taps is defending the position.
