3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Randy The Ripper! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ireland misses with a looping left. The Ripper bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ireland takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The Ripper slips a jab from Ireland. The Ripper drops Ireland with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ireland looks back up at him and smiles so The Ripper waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Ireland is rocked!
It looks like Billy Ireland has been cut. The Ripper punishes Ireland's body with a nice straight punch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A combination from Ireland does no damage. A punch lands to the side of The Ripper 's head but he takes it in his stride. The Ripper dodges the punch combination from Ireland.
The Ripper slips under a jab from Ireland. A slapping body kick lands there for The Ripper. Ireland is breathing heavily. Oh, that's a big right hand from The Ripper and Ireland goes tumbling to the canvas! The Ripper follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard. Oh Ireland is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ireland is refusing to be controlled, as The Ripper sits in half guard. Ireland seems to have got his legs back now. Ireland on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ireland tries to get out of the position. The Ripper lands strikes from half guard. The Ripper sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ireland defending well though. The Ripper wants to control but Ireland is keeping him busy. Nice strikes from The Ripper there. The Ripper seems to be looking for submissions.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Kings. No joy for Hadji on that attempt. A clash of legs there as Kings blocks the low kick. Kings blocks the body kick.
Hadji drives through with a takedown into guard. Kings is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hadji pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kings is keeping the position for now. Hadji won't allow Kings to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hadji wants to control from the top but Kings keeps moving. Hadji gets to his feet - Kings follows without any prompting. Hadji scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Hadji decides to stand and escape the position. Hadji looks for a takedown but Kings sprawls well. Kings should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kings avoids the head kick by Hadji.

Hadji closes the distance and clinches up with Kings, looking for a takedown. Hadji pushes Kings against the cage but Kings circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khadir Hadji. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hadji is breathing heavily. Hadji throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kings's waist but Kings gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hadji off to one side. Hadji gets the takedown into side control. Kings is looking to reverse the position. Kings tries to strike but it doesn't land. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kings is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hadji wants to take a breather but Kings is having none of it. Kings is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kings gets full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kings wants to sweep but no luck. Kings is looking to sinch up a triangle. Hadji throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kings's body to avoid the submission. Kings has instead reached around Hadji's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kings arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Troy doesn't manage to clinch there - Drake circles away.
Troy throws a sloppy head kick and Drake moves out of range easily. Troy throws a head kick but Drake moves out of range.
Troy tries to keep at a distance but Drake has taken the fight into the clinch. Drake wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Troy wants to break the clinch but can't.
Troy lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Drake is trying to break the clinch but Troy has him pressed against the cage. Drake misses with a hook to the ribs.

Drake lands a big elbow. Troy is in all sorts of trouble here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drake looking to finish Troy with some ground and pound. This is bad for Troy! Drake is in the full mount, landing strikes. Drake moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Troy has worked his arm free - good work by Troy!
Drake is looking to take a break and control but Troy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drake is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Troy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Troy is trying to control Drake's posture but Drake avoids it. Troy is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Drake off and has taken his back! Troy biding his time, looking for the opening.
Troy is looking for the choke from the back position but Drake is controlling his hands well. Troy is breathing heavily.

Troy gets his hands free as Drake looks to control. Troy is trying to stick to Drake's back but Drake is turning into Troy. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Troy's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Drake. Troy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Drake wants to pass the guard but Troy is keeping the position. Drake wants to control from the top but Troy keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. No luck for Drake with that takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Troy darts in trying to clinch and Drake counters with a series of strikes. Troy will be more careful next time no doubt. Troy wants to clinch and Drake counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Drake tries to stand and escape but Troy is controlling the position. Troy is refusing to be controlled, as Drake sits in half guard. Troy makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Troy connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Drake momentarily.
Troy closes the distance looking to clinch and Drake counters with a nice body kick.

Jesse Drake dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Drake slips a jab and a cross from Troy.
Drake keeps the fight on the outside. Drake will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Drake moves into range and clinches up with Troy. Troy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Troy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Drake swats him away and circles back towards the center. Troy takes the fight into the clinch. Troy unloads a knee to the mid-section. Drake lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Troy takes a shot to the head. A head punch on the inside from Drake fails to land. A short right from Drake. Drake can't break the clinch.
Drake is breathing heavily. Troy throws a punch but it's blocked by Drake. Drake lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Drake just misses with a elbow thrown towards Troy's brow. Drake avoiding damage as Troy throws knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Troy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Troy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Danny Troy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Drake shoots in for a double leg but Troy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Troy closes the distance looking to clinch and Drake holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Troy throws a knee to the head but misses.
Drake wants to break the clinch but can't.
Drake misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Troy.
Drake wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Troy has him pressed against the cage. Drake tries a knee to the head but Troy blocks it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Troy wants to clinch up but Drake keeps it at a distance. Drake has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Drake tries to keep at a distance but Troy has taken the fight into the clinch. Troy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Drake moves into range and clinches up with Troy. Troy landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Troy tries to clinch up. Danny Troy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Drake throws a wild body kick that Troy sees coming a mile off. Troy tries to clinch up but Drake circles away and keeps his distance. Troy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Drake is rocked! Troy gets in close and instigates a clinch. A quick uppercut on the inside from Troy. Drake is still on wobbly legs! Can Troy finish him? Troy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Troy lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Drake seems to have recovered his senses. Troy scores with a nice right hand.

Drake feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Drake postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Drake prevents Troy from getting back to his feet. Drake trying to control but Troy is working from the bottom. Drake stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Troy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Troy keeping moving, preventing Drake from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Troy dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Drake lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Troy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Drake doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Drake isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Troy stacks Drake on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Troy! Troy stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Troy fails in his attempt to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Good body shot from Troy.
Drake lands an uppercut. Troy wants to break free but Drake has control.
A short body shot lands from Drake as the two fighters clinch.
Drake tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Troy smiles and moves away.
Troy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Drake wants to clinch up but Troy keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Drake fails to land the takedown. Danny Troy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Drake. Troy connects with a high kick. A slow jab from Drake misses its intended target. Troy tries to clinch so Drake counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Troy scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Troy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Troy is looking to clinch but Drake is avoiding it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Drake throws a body kick that misses. Troy is looking to clinch but Drake is avoiding it.
Troy tries to clinch up and Drake counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Troy's guard now.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesse Drake comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Drake has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Hardy might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kid kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Hardy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kid is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hardy slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hardy wants to pass the guard but Kid is keeping the position. Hardy trying to control the position from guard on top but Kid is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hardy fails to land the takedown. Hardy looks gassed! Kid closes the distance but Hardy moves to the side and Hardy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hardy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kid, pushing him back against the cage. Kid stalling.
Hardy works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Kid has his foot on Hardy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hardy works his way back into a safe position though. Kid looking for subs off his back but Hardy has passed one foot through into half guard.
Hardy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kid is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kid keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Hardy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. Faber is in all sorts of trouble here.

Marsh circles away from the clinch attempt.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hammer looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Drake could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Drake takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. No joy there for Hammer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Drake shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Hammer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Drake drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drake throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Hammer is trying to control Drake's posture but Drake avoids it.

Drake looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hammer is one step ahead there. Hammer looking to control the position here, rather than advance. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Drake escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hammer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hammer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Drake. A lull in the action here. Hammer is putting a hurting on Drake here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hammer stands up and beckons Drake to his feet. Hammer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hammer scores with a punch to the head. Drake closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Drake lands in his opponent's guard. Hammer keeping moving, preventing Drake from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hammer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Drake.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Drake fails with an attempt to clinch.
Drake instigates a clinch. Drake throws an elbow that misses.
Drake goes for a takedown attempt but Hammer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Drake tries for a takedown but Hammer circles away easily and Hammer counters with a nice kick to the body. Hammer drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Hammer dominated that fourth round. That's time! Drake's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hammer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Drake. Drake doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hammer counters with a three punch combo that has Drake backing up. Drake nods at Hammer to acknowledge the strikes. Hammer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drake as he jumps to the side. Hammer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hammer content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drake looking for submissions off his back. Hammer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Drake is pressing down on Hammer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Hammer wants to stand but Drake is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Drake has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hammer has passed into side control.
Drake gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Drake is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Hammer pulls his head out easily. Hammer is thwarting Drake's attempts to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammer content to control rather than advance. Drake works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hammer preventing the sweep. Drake pushes Hammer off and gets back to his feet.
Drake with a poor takedown and Hammer counters with a solid body kick. Hammer closes the distance looking to clinch and Drake counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Drake seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hammer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Drake thows a huge punch but Hammer dodges it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Takashi Drake. I think Hammer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
