The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wood's waist but Wood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Turner off to one side.
Wood motions for Turner to come forward. Wood throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Wood lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Turner is rocked!
Turner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oh Turner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Turner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Turner seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Turner. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Turner takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Wood cracks Turner on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Turner falls backwards against the cage. Wood follows up with more strikes that drop Turner to his knees. Wood keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Turner! This one is all over!
