The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dragon looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dragon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Goku Dragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dragon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Svensson circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Goku Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dragon shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Svensson connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Stinson gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Stinson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jones doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jones manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stinson wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment. Stinson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stinson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Stinson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones!

Stinson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Jones has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
