The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto throws a head kick that misses.
Yamamoto plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Brushnikov shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Yamamoto sprawls well. Yamamoto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brushnikov gets slowly back to his feet.
Brushnikov shoots for a double leg takedown but Yamamoto sprawls well. He's pushed Brushnikov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Yamamoto misses with a hook. Brushnikov ducked under it nicely.

Yamamoto ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brushnikov moves away.
Yamamoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brushnikov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brushnikov trying to control the position but Yamamoto is working away.

Yamamoto is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Brushnikov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Yamamoto sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Yamamoto is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Brushnikov asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Brushnikov has hold of Yamamoto's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yamamoto tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Brushnikov cranks the arm and Yamamoto screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yamamoto, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leopold Raskalnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexi Khazoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khazoki has chosen I Want It All as his entrance music. Leopold Raskalnikov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Alexi Khazoki has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Leopold Raskalnikov's chin.

Raskalnikov throws a leg kick but Khazoki sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Raskalnikov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Khazoki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Raskalnikov pinned against the cage. Raskalnikov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Raskalnikov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Khazoki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Raskalnikov was covering up waiting for the punch and Khazoki finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Khazoki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Raskalnikov pulls Khazoki in close to prevent any damage.

Khazoki sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Raskalnikov doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Khazoki paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Raskalnikov - great work!

Stevenson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
