Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Ping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddie Mays (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ping might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Open Hapiness. Pierre Ping has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ping moves into the clinch.
Mays tries to break free but Ping pushes him back against the ropes.

Ping breaks the clinch.
Ping avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Ping closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ping lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Ping wants to control from the top but Mays keeps moving.
Ping seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mays closes the distance and clinches up with Ping, looking for a takedown. Mays pushes Ping against the ropes but Ping circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Mays got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ping has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mays has managed to get both his arms back between Ping's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pierre Ping will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Onderek, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
