Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanzo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Spade ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Spade defending well as Hanzo loads up on a big left hand. Spade moves away from the strike by Hanzo. Hanzo misses with a wild combination.
Spade tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hanzo swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hattori Hanzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanzo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hanzo swinging wilding here.
Hanzo misses the jab. Hanzo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hanzo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Spade. Hanzo stuffs the takedown attempt from Spade. Spade gets slowly back to his feet. Hattori Hanzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Spade. Hanzo lands with an uppercut that bounces Spade off the cage and back into rage. Hanzo misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Spade counters with a one-two to the body. Spade changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hanzo tries to avoid it but Spade manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hanzo to the ground. Hanzo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Spade misses with a takedown attempt - Hanzo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hanzo misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Spade. Spade looks gassed! Spade looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Hattori Hanzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hanzo misses the jab. Hanzo misses with the combination.

and Spade counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hanzo is lucky that one didn't land flush. Hanzo looks to throw the jab but Spade is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Spade walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hanzo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Hanzo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hanzo clinches up against the cage. Spade is working for takedown but Hanzo is calmly controlling the position for now. Hanzo lands with a right to the head. Hanzo lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Spade's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Spade throws a punch but it's blocked by Hanzo. A short right from Hanzo on the inside. Spade has had enough of the clinch but Hanzo keeps him there for the moment. Hanzo has a couple of punches blocked by Spade.

Spade shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanzo sprawls well. He's pushed Spade's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hanzo lands with a shot to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Spade stuns Hanzo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hattori Hanzo will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hanzo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Spade shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hanzo defends it nicely. Spade is looking to clinch but Hanzo is avoiding it.

Hanzo was covering up waiting for the punch and Spade finishes the takedown easily into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hanzo wants to stand but Spade is controlling the position. Hanzo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Spade can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hanzo wants to get back to his feet but Spade is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spade trying to control but Hanzo is working from the bottom. Spade is pushing down on Hanzo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hanzo is fighting to maintain full guard but Spade has managed to sneak the leg through. Hanzo wants to get back to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Spade tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hanzo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Spade scores with a kick to the body.

That was a close second round but I would say that Hattori Hanzo will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Summers Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take DeNomee's back instead. DeNomee rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramhart fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ramhart. That one must have hurt. Qunicy Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramhart closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Jones lands a takedown into guard.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ramhart escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ramhart looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ramhart could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jones throws and elbow that misses. Ramhart uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Ramhart! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth. Jones wants to sweep but no luck. Jones is controlling Ramhart's posture. Ramhart content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jones has his foot on Ramhart's thigh. Fist slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Murdoch fails with an attempt to clinch.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Murdoch is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Fist advances position into side control!
