The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinney throws a head kick but Tun moves out of range.
Tun tries to keep at a distance but Kinney has taken the fight into the clinch. Kinney is struggling to control the position. Tun fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kinney landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
A short left from Kinney. Tun is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Tun manages to pull guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sodo shoots for a takedown but Pinketon saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Horrible takedown by Pinketon or perhaps it was just good defense by Sodo which made him look bad. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pinketon. Pinketon tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Sodo is trying to control Pinketon's posture but Pinketon avoids it. Sodo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Pinketon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sodo on the ground. Sodo pushes Pinketon off looking to stand but Pinketon dives back in and keeps control.
Sodo wants to get back to full guard. Pinketon could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Pinketon is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sodo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pinketon wanted to stand there but Sodo had control of the position. Sodo is working an open guard so Pinketon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Pinketon looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Sodo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pinketon is one step ahead there. Pinketon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's going to take a lot out of him. A punch lands to the side of Pinketon 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sodo stalks Pinketon and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mac tries to roll over but Chan keeps him under control. Mac seems to have recovered his senses. Chan throwing shots but Mac is blocking nicely. Chan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mac's head.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Chan forces Mac back against the cage and clinches. Mac wants a takedown.

Chan not landing any meaningful shots this time. Chan throwing shots but Mac is blocking nicely. Mac is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Chan pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yamapi Chan dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Chan tries to clinch up. Chan closes the distance and pushes Mac back into the cage. Chan breaks from the clinch.
Jay Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mac with a poor takedown and Chan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mac's guard now. Chan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mac keeping moving, preventing Chan from controlling successfully. Mac escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mac looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chan stands up from Mac's guard - Chan perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Chan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mac shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chan's guard. Chan is trying to control the position but Mac postures up. Chan wants to sweep here but Mac controlling him for the moment. Chan working for a triangle but Mac defends it easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice sprawl there from Mac as Chan shoots in. Mac bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Chan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Chan gets back to half guard. Mac stops Chan from getting back to his feet.
Mac is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mac. Chan won't allow Mac to pass to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chan wants to control but Mac is keeping busy and won't allow it. Mac is looking for a kimura here.

Mac moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Chan shoots in but Mac avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mac shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mac is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Mac trying to control the position from guard on top but Chan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yamapi Chan. Well Chan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donk. Jenkins catches Veneracion right on the button with a cross. Jenkins throws a right hand that Veneracion ducks under and follows up with a left that Veneracion also avoids with ease. Jenkins throws a right and a left that Veneracion avoids nicely. Veneracion gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jenkins uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Veneracion on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Veneracion is rocked! Veneracion slips a jab and a cross from Jenkins.
Veneracion is still on wobbly legs! Can Jenkins finish him? Jenkins finds Veneracion's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Veneracion flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Jenkins lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Veneracion will be OK.
